  1. I don't think we dodged a bullet at all if anything we had plenty of chances ourselves which could easily have gone in on another day arguably we should have made the margin bigger.

That second half was the best performance Ive seen this season we should be proud of that they really put a shift in.

Maybe dodged a bullet was abit excessive but Cov could of had us dead and buried, yes the team put a shift in second half but we didnt defend as well as we could of done either.

  2. Bloody hell.. Dodged a bullet there didnt we? From Holloway going off to the end of the first half we were the worst ive seen all season, if Coventry would of put their chances away we could of lost today, still confused as to why Sheridan replaced a forward with a defensive midfielder when we had N'Goo Osei on the bench.

That being said second half alot more like it still abit shakey at the back but we got 3 points and moved out of the relegation zone.

  3. Attended both at the hockey stadium and was always optimistic, until I then attended 6-2, 5-0, 7-0 in my next 3 visits. I will never go there again. Soulless stadium, cinema seats, and no good boozer for miles. Even though we won on Saturday, I am still not very optimistic about a result there.

That said I have just whacked £20 on us at 7/2 on Bet365!!

Had us to draw or win at 3/4 as part of 5 fold

  4. Hibs have failed in their attempt to bring back Anthony Stokes for a third spell.

Boss Neil Lennon had been keen to sign the player on loan from Championship side Blackburn.

But they were unable to agree a suitable deal in time to beat last nights transfer deadline.

And Stokes will now remain at the Lancashire club for the remainder of this season.

  5. I can't believe I'm even typing this - but it's totally possible that the Chinese millionaires asked for Corney to take them to Nando's cos they like it.

The lack of any mention of them in the Chron is very interesting - and in my opinion would only happen at the request of the club.

Maybe he wanted to show the potential new investors that oldham as a town is also progressing.. trams, new cinema etc

  6. 7'200 plus I stand corrected.. Spoke to a steward at half time who said the ticket office had issued 2k on the night before K.O, great to see a few more bums on seats and some old faces back at the match.

Hopefully a few have seen enough to see the rest of the season out with some big games left.

Holloway impressed me, his footwork seems to have improved massively I rated him last time but I don't remember him being so tricky with his feet back then.

Ngoo big strong adds a different dynamic to our attack get a few players running off him and we will do well.

    Fane is still improving.

Clarke Wilson Gerrard as a back three we're more mobile than I expected.

Atmosphere was brilliant, felt almost like a cup tie and was nice to hear the songs with a bit of umpff behind them.

Bradford should bring around 3k with them Saturday, lets hope we have done enough tonight to bring 4k home fans.
