  1. As much as I dislike the agenda set out by some of the posters on here, I think most of the sentiments in the OP ring true, I know plenty of people that don't bother with home games and I can't really blame them I've seen very little so far this season that would have me paying in on the gate. The football needs to improve to bring the masses back IMHO but it's vicious cycle isn't the more who stay the more the playing suffers. SC does his best to keep us a float but he has to play it safe aswell, he can't just throw money at the club without the assurance that it will be worthwhile investment.

If we want change we are either going to have to sit around and wait for it to happen or start making strides to making it happen!

  2. Very poor today. I was away for the Swindon game so I can't compare two, brief glimmers of good passing and movement but as soon as we get it on the the final third we fall flat, I don't know if the players or the coaching or the tactics that's off but something is wrong.

I couldn't wait for the final whistle today, I will be back but only because I've got a season ticket if I was a pay at the gate customer I wouldn't be rushing back.

If there was every showing of why are gates have dwindled it was on that pitch today.

  3. Laughable that people see "surviving" as being an acceptable aim. Ambition? Nah, leave that for others - we're little Oldham, we're lucky to have a club.

you need to take a serious look at where we are as a club, all this "we bigger than Rochdale & Bury" bants every year... barring an extra 500 fans at home, a good away following and the memories of better days we not we are on par with them, we've have had a few hiccups (for want of a better phrase) from the board in recent years but it looks like we are finally starting to get things right, in a few years time we could be in a better position we all want that but right now we are what we are, survival is key without survival how can we progress?

  4. I told myself I would give the team a month before I started being over-critical and thus far the alarm bells ain't ringing just yet yes what are lacking at the minute is the end product but everything else isn't bad at all, the movement is great, when we break we are threat and we have got players who have to composure to break up the oppos attacks we just need that end product.

  5. Its the end of an area with Diego Cervero leaving Real Oviedo, where he was Club captain and will always be God, and signing for CF Fuenlabrada in the Segunda Division B Group 1. Fuenlabrada is near Madrid and the Club has a stadium named after Fernando Torres, who was born there.

    Good luck Diego!

Anybody else searching t'internet for a CF Fuenlabrada shirt?
