Anyone got a current squad list for the u20s?
-
Very poor today. I was away for the Swindon game so I can't compare two, brief glimmers of good passing and movement but as soon as we get it on the the final third we fall flat, I don't know if the players or the coaching or the tactics that's off but something is wrong.
I couldn't wait for the final whistle today, I will be back but only because I've got a season ticket if I was a pay at the gate customer I wouldn't be rushing back.
If there was every showing of why are gates have dwindled it was on that pitch today.
-
Nope, just the famous Cristiano Montano defending in the box for a corner at Stevenage, picking up the loose ball, running the length of the pitch and scoring the best goal I've seen from us in a long time.
That was worth the petrol money and the entrance fee alone

Any news on the striker where the deal was done yet ?
Fold the club, boycott the games, Corney out etc etc
-
Ishmael Miller name always crops up on here, is he really training with us?
-
Surely they're a bit too cheerful for you?
-
Big difference there though, I have family members who for whatever reason don't attend games (Clayton and Lookers demolition are two of the main ones)
You should tell them about the North Stand & Clayton Green then
-
Laughable that people see "surviving" as being an acceptable aim. Ambition? Nah, leave that for others - we're little Oldham, we're lucky to have a club.
you need to take a serious look at where we are as a club, all this "we bigger than Rochdale & Bury" bants every year... barring an extra 500 fans at home, a good away following and the memories of better days we not we are on par with them, we've have had a few hiccups (for want of a better phrase) from the board in recent years but it looks like we are finally starting to get things right, in a few years time we could be in a better position we all want that but right now we are what we are, survival is key without survival how can we progress?
-
They haven't.
So we are jumping the gun then??
-
Think he was only in the bench because they couldn't start benetekeLopado on palaces bench today...will they really loan him out even if he is now their 4th choice
-
Where have the club stated that this is the size we are getting?
-
Or maybe our target signed for Coventry after leaving us hanging on for two weeks.
Why do you & REAL even bother posting on here?
-
Palace have reached an agreement with Liverpool to sign Belgium striker Christian Benteke.
The clubs have agreed a fee of £27m plus add-ons that could see the deal rise to above £30m

I told myself I would give the team a month before I started being over-critical and thus far the alarm bells ain't ringing just yet yes what are lacking at the minute is the end product but everything else isn't bad at all, the movement is great, when we break we are threat and we have got players who have to composure to break up the oppos attacks we just need that end product.

Someone get this kid the membership numbers before they combust...

Anybody else searching t'internet for a CF Fuenlabrada shirt? Its the end of an area with Diego Cervero leaving Real Oviedo, where he was Club captain and will always be God, and signing for CF Fuenlabrada in the Segunda Division B Group 1. Fuenlabrada is near Madrid and the Club has a stadium named after Fernando Torres, who was born there.
Good luck Diego!

Or the stayaways what with them having stayed away in a very non fickle manner.
-
So you did not sit in the Jimmy Frizzell stand ......
Sorry the JFS
-
Other thing is, and it's not a criticism of the Athleticos, there is simply no atmosphere.
Id like to disagree on that one, I sat in the big section of the RRE (north stand side) yesterday and there was a good atmosphere from start to finish
-
Said we created 'a lot of chances' yesterday.
Not sure what game he was watching...
Probably the same game as me
-
Fitting tribute to a club legend, hats on the athleticos on their part aswell for all the criticism they get their hearts are in the right place..
What is going to happen with JF banner now? Can we put out over a section of empty seats or use it to cover up those weathered platic sheets on the side of the RRE?

I genuinely feel there is room for a supporters group, but it needs to be structured and organised, and not built from the ashes of a failed protest group.
We've got one in the Trust haven't we?
-
This was nothing to do with any protest group. Was set up by psychic Sally in Southampton.
Maybe not directly but your group slanderd the trust then this alternative appears shortly after
-
Just seen this on there facebook page
"Just to let everyone know there has been no interest from any fans in the form of making donations . I am therefore going to close this page down and remove the website oaisa.co.uk from the internet :("
Wasnt this the protest group alternative to the trust??
To anyone at the club who will actually listen or who cares?

As much as I dislike the agenda set out by some of the posters on here, I think most of the sentiments in the OP ring true, I know plenty of people that don't bother with home games and I can't really blame them I've seen very little so far this season that would have me paying in on the gate. The football needs to improve to bring the masses back IMHO but it's vicious cycle isn't the more who stay the more the playing suffers. SC does his best to keep us a float but he has to play it safe aswell, he can't just throw money at the club without the assurance that it will be worthwhile investment.
If we want change we are either going to have to sit around and wait for it to happen or start making strides to making it happen!
