It wasn't. It's easier for folk to think it was though. I was right behind it at the game. Was hit hard, from inside the area, around 2 players so his view was blocked and I suspect he was expecting it to be hit around into the corner (as I did). That's why he had moved towards the corner slightly and it meant all he could do was parry it. In real time, it really wasn't as easy to stop as those baying for his blood make out.

He also made 2 cracking saves. Plus the other one you have mentioned that he also parried. So wow.....FOUR shots on target...1 goal conceded.

The stats are wrong. I rest my case.

Is he blameless why we have conceded so many goals & do you think he has had a good season so far if so what would you score him out of ten?

I can. The stats are wrong.

He made 2 cracking saves at Shrewsbury as we as the parry for the goal. Did we lose 3-0?

Goal at Shrewsbury was his fault he should or pushed it away from goal, was lucky not to concede another minutes later when he did exactly the same, he needs to stop trying to look flashy  for the fans and do the basics solidly and start keeping clean sheets.

Thanks for the link, you cannot air your views in public is wrong even more vital the players singled out will not give 100 % for him going forward , clearly he does not rate our forwards also JP should not get beat on the near post & Shrewsbury goal was a mistake by him not parring it away from goal i am surprised he does not come in for more accountability / criticism.

Will be interesting to see who RW brings in his frustration is obvious and clearly knows where he wants to strengthen KTF  .

Gardner. If he was on a booking I could half understand his half-hearted effort at tackling but it was woeful play.

No place on a football pitch for that attitude / lack of desire especially in the final third, body positioning looking round before attempted tackle as for the walking back after he is beat i would let him walk home.

Thats what I mean - ie I hope the take over and red tape gets sorted or we are left with a load of player with (in Wellens words) “no quality” - I like the guy but slagging off your workforce in the open (however poor they may be) is bad management

DD did this that did not end well get the best out of them until they are replaced calling them will only demotivate them, unless he knows signings are a done deal?

  6. My take on yesterday are as follows  ( i do not go to every game so any obvious mistakes apologies in advance )

1 st half very disjointed huge gap from midfield to upfront as a consequence of Davies getting  support quick enough from midfield ( dont think he holds the ball up well enough which is one of key roles as a forward ) the ball just comes straight back, also midfield not offering effective cover for the deference and were knocked of the ball to easily they appear to be reacting as apposed to anticipating.

Wide players did not do enough to easily knocked of the ball quality of crosses not good enough.

Goalkeeper was at fault for the goal that should of been parried away from goal he did similar about ten minutes later which we were lucky not to conceded again, he wants to look fancy instead of being solid absolutely no comparison to him & Ripley cannot believe he is not being questioned more.

When JP played out from the back when we made errors because if you play this style the whole team has to show and give options only 2 or 3 did hence losing possession in dangerous positions ( not well drilled in the training pitch / not playing as a team )

2 nd half was a lot better midfield competed better out wide again we are invariably crossing from outside the box which has to have pin point accuracy as apposed to getting to the touch line were the margin for crossing are far better.

We still did not work the keeper for all the possession which is a worry.

Shrewsbury were incredibly well drilled started time wasting at the start of the 2nd half every player knew they   role within the TEAM it would be interesting to know stats in terms of run distance between their players and ours?

In terms of RW i do believe this team should be producing more and be better drilled so will be an interesting transfer window to see who goes and more importantly who he brings in we cannot keep sacking managers though we need some continuity at the club.

Out of interest what did RW say when he came right up to our fans he looked animated not at our fans like he was promising something?

Garbage. Best manager since our last best manager and some.

All Fleetwood had to do was be solid accross the back. To their credit, they were exactly that.

We haven't turned into a bad team overnight.

    Get over yourself.

Honeymoon period is over i said this a number of weeks ago, defence is not solid that is the point & no signs of improvement look on the horizon defensively.

I am not calling for his head hopefully he will steer us towards mid table in readiness for next season with hopefully the investment/takeover all in place so hopefully we can have a mid table or optimistic push towards play offs.

To many extremes sometimes which is understandable after the lack of hope for years
