Have any bottles been delivered?
Needed - hopefully - for the five signatures on renewal contracts today.
Don't know about the quink but I do believe a box load of quills were delivered early this morning in anticipation for a flurry of activity.

Posh are to sign Anthony Grant from Vale and have also Signed Ricky Miller from Dover Athletic. Moving early on those two...
Maybe that's his ploy give the impression its better to wait then get in there first with a lucrative contract

But Lee did sign and played for us. Just buggered off fairly soon after...
Did he ? I can't remeber him ever turning out for us

Unless I've missed a post how can anyone forget the Rob Lee saga

Definitely sign him for next season if possible ...a bit of pace and trickery which nobody else in the team has...and is hard to get the ball off .

Now we are safe, I thought it was worth seeing if there is anything left to play for on Sunday.
- Clearly we can still finish above Northampton.
- A win would also give us more points (and potentially a higher finish) than we got last season which must be a step forward.
- A clean sheet gives Connor the record
- If we concede less than 2 we will have had our 2nd best defensive season in this division (clutching at straws a bit now I accept)
- If we score 9 this won't have been our worst scoring season in this division (Ok, that's going too far)
Record ? If im not mistaken Connor has kept 18 clean sheets 17 in the league and 1 in the checkatrade trophy a clean sheet Saturday and he will equal it ?

Dale have sold
Wait for it
Wait for it
1,000 tickets.
Although it is pay on the day, so that will obviously increase a fair bit.Knowing them a fair bit is an extra 150

And if I am not mistaken didn't the shit bag get his 12 game ban reduced to 9 ?

So what's everyone's opinion of how the bottom of the table will look come 2pm Sunday 30th? I've got a bad feeling about Bolton and think it will go down the last day of the season before we are safe.
My guess is...
Bury 52
Latics 52
Gills 51
Shrews 51
----------------
Vale 50
Swindon 49
Chesterfield and Coventry gone
I cant see Bury getting another 6pts with their run in so maybe they will take that last relegation spot ....Its going to be as tight as a ducks arse whatever the final standings.

In a rivalry sense (obviously we'd rather have points on the board sooner), who would you rather beat: Rochdale or Bolton?
Bolton only for the fact we haven't played them until this season for years and a much bigger club than dale.

I'm sure Rickers played more games for us than that.
Nah seems about right

Obviously that's tongue in cheek humour, but could still qualify as the daftest ever question on OWTB. Brilliant.

A few years ago my brother in law was working as a security guard at a Next warehouse just on the outskirts of Bradford when one of the store workers told him that he used to play for Latics .....after digging out some old programmes I asked is that him to which he said yeah ....Paul Rickers. Don't know what he's doing now but just goes to show the different paths of professional footballers.

Seeing the big change in Erwin under Sheridan's command ...does anybody think there is hope for Reckord ?

You're thinking of Fester. It's probably him.
Who ever he is I think its time for him to be sectioned !

Was sat in front of his parents at the Sheff United game. It was painful every time - and it felt like there were many - he put in a shite ball.
The problem(?) is that he's a real threat from direct set-pieces so it's hard to take him off duty.
From direct set pieces (as he showed Saturday) I have much more faith in him ...I just find it mind boggling that for corners and indirect free kicks, where there are far more opportunities, his delivery is crap.

Banks was trying to hoodwink everyone into believing he was a footballer early to mid season.
It may have worked on that halfwit Robinson but i was having none of it,There can be no doubt that the improvement in his game has been astounding but he does still have his moments ;-)
I am still not a fan of Banks sure he has improved (although still prone to a few gaffs) but his delivery on set pieces carry no threat whatsoever ...either over hits them or floats them in making it incredibly easy for the keeper to claim. Ohhh but for an Eyersy type of delivery full of whip, menace and accuracy !

There is one guy in the North stand who I honestly dont get why he supports Latics. Abuses the players all game, and I just dont get it. I dont mind the odd bit of stick ie when Banks did his ridiculous dive I gave him shit, but otherwise you should get behind them regardless of opinion on them.
On Erwin, I would sign him, 2 year deal just for that Northampton last minute winner! Looked a bit of a fairy at the start of the season, but alongside Holloway seems to be a bit more physical and eager to play. Confidence maybe? Certainly knows where the net is from distance, would just be nice to see him stick a couple of poacher efforts away, but the last 8-10 games show he definitely has it in his locker to be a 1 in 2/1 in 3 man.
Does this idiot have short grey hair podgy and sometimes sits with another moaning cnut ?

£300k is obviously a lot of money for us, but making a £7.7m profit on it makes it feel like significantly less.
On the other hand, a £60k loss on Joe Colbeck feels like a kick in the balls, even before recalling the memory of seeing him play.
I dread to think if we had signed him how much of a pittance we would have let him go for ? Therefore its probably best we never did !

I can name one in our team right now who would come very close to taking the top spot ..and it isn't Ngoo

Underdog contacts CEO on 30.03.17 and says...."hey instead of a refund how about give me the equivalent credit to buy a season ticket at the early bird discount?"
04.04.17 no response from CEO as of 1pm
Underdog missed out on Early bird promotion..boo hoo sniff
Yes a slight moan
Nothing to moan about as the glaring mistake you made was expecting a reply within 2days to allow you to receive the credit for the early bird offer knowing full well the club always takes 10steps backwards before even attempting one forward.
