A rousing rally call to send us into the summer full of optimism.
And to encourage season ticket sales

Surrounded by the same toxic dickheads at every game. I can't spend my money on it anymore. I'm done
You need to join us in the main stand where it's much less toxic than the other stands and I've been in them all this season. Assuming you're not in the main stand already

Green & Fondop are the only 2 for me and that is because we know on their day, they can be unplayable in this league.
When has Green been 'unplayable' for longer than 10 mins in a match?

I'm hoping Southend get into the playoffs and go on to get promoted because I think they'll probably be the best team in the National League next season if not.
(Edit - just listening to podcast and Andy is of the same thought)

At Chesterfield on Thursday
Absolutely crazy. Don't think we'll be bothering now........

From that interview I wouldn't be surprised if Mellon walks if he can't get shut of quite a few players that are contracted for next season.

Halifax losing 0-2 at the moment......

I'm wondering if they are now hedging their bets and waiting until the outcome of Saturdays games? A loss for us and a win for either Aldershot or Halifax (potentially both) finishes our season, i think without checking the table, so would imagine that would dampen any potential big/rowdy following we might take.
I doubt that if we have already sold over 1800 tickets. Isn't the last away game of the season fancy dress time etc?

It's quite simple really. A striker of Norwood's age will never score 30 goals a season at this level. But it's a reasonable expectation for Norwood to have scored 30 goals this season at this level. And he hasn't lived up to that reasonable expectation to score 30 goals this season, so he's underperformed and it's largely his fault we're 9th. And we know that this is what the club expected of him when they signed him because they never came out and said it.
Case closed.
I largely disagree with this. If we had a much better midfield that creates chances for strikers to run on to then he would have scored more and he may well have been approaching 30 goals. I think most of us would agree that the midfield has been generally woeful all season.

He signed players in all of those positions...
He seemed to admit that Sachdev was a mistake saying he’s a wing back really but thought he might do a job at right back -paraphrase.

Get back to playing and behaving like underdogs. Always suited Oldham teams and our mentality.
That's not likely to happen in this division.

Surprised nobody has mention Kitching. In that second half he didn't try to beat a man once to get to the byline. What's happening in his head? Seems to have no confidence.
Mellon in post match interview actually said we haven't got a right back. Where's Sachdev? We've needed one for 2 seasons now and we (the fans) told Unsworth at the meet the manager event.......
Ps how many corners didn't get past the first man?? Basics.....

Are you reading the script for Mellon's post-match presser?
That's how I saw it.

Much better second half and should’ve scored and I think probably a draw would have been a fair result.
The bottom line is that we are simply miles off being a team who can get promoted.- 2

It’s a crap game here. To say there’s a few of us there’s no atmosphere at all….

Well that was utter shite. We need a big clear out in the summer. I wouldn't be bothered if most of them went but I know that can't/won't happen. I agree with my son and would give MM 10 games next season (like Unsworth) but again I doubt that happening.
Pissed off with them......
-
We'll be buying 2 for sure. We need to help as much as possible to get out of this league.
I think that if you can't afford it then fine nobody will criticise you for that but just say that rather than trying to find fault with the owners and the running of the club. The club need as much income as possible.

Regardless of today’s result, do we really think this team will win at Halifax and/or Altrincham?
No and I've got tickets for both.....

It's getting really strange how they change from playing well to playing shite in the space of a few days.

I did say allegedly about Norwood. Seems it was a load of bollocks.
Let the inquest begin.

If I remember rightly he was pleased to hand over to someone else after that game he was in charge. Don't think he wants to be a manager..........
