Skipper just edged out Smalley. Although there wasn't much competition.

Has to be Smalley. Worked hard, scored a great goal and could have had a hat trick. Inexperience cost him today.

It's smalley by a clear distance. The only one of our forwards who showed anything like the determination needed to win the game. As has been said ... He missed a couple of sitters, however did more in one game than Hughes and windass combined...also the only player who seems to get shez's 3 up front routine...

 

Also head and shoulders above Taylor, who looked weak, disinterested and very poor...

Smalley probably got more out of that game than any of the others. But MoM for me, again, was Maher. He's starting to pull the strings now in the way I thought (hoped) he would.
