Not heard their new song, and I have no desire to seek it out. Like you say, achtung baby was the tops. Joshua Tree was ace too. I also really like Pop....I actually like a lot of their stuff, I just think Bono is a cock.
thetramfixer
..he was a pretentious :censored:. watching that tv programme tonight on bbc confirmed my thoughts. even his band members had certain doubts! tosser way above the ronnie moore spectrum. on one of my many trips to the Dublin i decided to take in a bus tour as it stopped at the Guinness Brewery.. the driver did a fantastic comentary, and as he passed this manky green hotel he mentioned that Bono owned it blah blah blah!! straight away in his broad irish accent he commented how he knew him when he was a busker, and finished with the line........ " he was sheeoite then, and he's sheeoite now!! "... (done in best irish text!!)

johnny punkster
what got me about that programme was that he was just keen to prostitute himself to be forever in the spotlight... in there with bush.. in there with blair.. in there with obama.. in there with mandela.. in there with popes... etc etc etc!!!! and it was just just squirmy every time! and his fellow band members just wern't really comfortable about it!!! GET THE FECKIN HINT!!!!!!!!! and he STILL insists on wearing thoses FECKIN' sunglasses!!! the other guys on that programme really did come over as nice ordinary down to earth chaps...but bono...?? YOU'RE ON ANOTHER PLANET PAL!
opinions4u
Bono is onstage clapping slowly and sonorously declaring..... 'Every time I clap (pause to clap) my hands (pause to clap) a child dies in Africa.' At which point an unusually intelligent person in the audience shouts 'Well, stop f**king clapping, you idiot!!'
