shefflatic Posted February 28, 2009 Share Posted February 28, 2009 Listening to local leeds station, few things to note: 'Look like we're going to concede all the time' 'keeper is dodgy' 'look vulnerable at the back against nippy/pacey strikers' 'Players playing out of position, cm at rb' 'injuries and suspensions: robinson hamstring, howson suspended' 'without beckford we struggle and rely on him for goals' Keep beckford quiet and these lot are sh1t, overrated trash. We've done them at Elland rd twice in 2 seasons and scunthorpe can come back from 2-0 down so they are clearly :censored:e defensively. Get CT and DS running at them and they'll have problems. We can afford a defeat now and still be in the playoffs which helps, although i can see a draw at worst. As long as we have a real good go and dont hide I dont care about the result. Hardly there for the taking. MK Dons have 2 games in hand. Bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush I know, but they are playing well and would've beat Leicester today if it wasn't for a 7th minute injury time equaliser. How is this the case? We're still in the weakest position out of everyone in the playoffs and 7th because they have games in hand over us. Assuming Scunny and Millwall win one of their games in hand over us we're seventh (EDIT - I realise this is not the case for Scunny) and chasing, but if we beat Leeds we create a 6 point gap and they have one game in hand. TrikkiNikki Posted February 28, 2009 Share Posted February 28, 2009 Beckford is a pacy striker, but he can't do anything if he's kept quiet. I think Hazell will be more of an influence than Gregan. We have to look at exploiting the gaps created by Taylor and maybe Kabba will be a bit sharper. Should be good, but I'm nervous already.
