Season Ticket Finance

Recommended Posts

If your credit worthiness is good, you are better to apply for a 0% credit card and pay it off over the season. The Zebara (?) finance is a high rate of interest.

The Zebra APR is very competative considering the small amount borrowed.

The APR works out less then an extra £1.25 each game or under £28 for the credit service. Typically you get a better APR the more you borrow so the lender can make money

M&S Credit cards are still offering 10 mths 0 % APR, which would be the cheapest way to buy a ST currently if you dont have all the money upfront.

If you have your main bank account at Halifax they'll do you 12 months at 0% (or 9 months if you don't qualify for the 12). So swamp the branch tomorrow morning!

(Small print: If you borrow money on a credit card and don't pay it back, the lender reserves the right to send the boys round and kick your head in. Worse still it will ruin your credit rating and your wife will spend the next 25 years reminding you that your credit card debt to pay for a Latics season ticket ruined her plans to get that nice new house she'd had her eye on and you'll just have to reply "that was the season Penney's boys got promoted via the play-offs at Wembley").
