Nohairdontcare
According to a newswire which my mate has access to, Notts County's bid to sign Lee Hughes has 'stalled' as they've failed to agree terms... apparently they are still 'on-going' in a bid to 'thrash out a deal' though... I wonder how much he thinks he's worth? (sorry about putting subject in CAPITALS...) Edited July 10, 2009 by Nohairdontcare

Personally I hope he prices himself out of a move, never wanted him here and I was never comfortable with the adulation he enjoyed let's move on, looking forward to Penney pulling off a coup to bolster our forward line. Like him or not he did his job well...As for a penny coup i doubt very much that we have the ready's to grab a striker of hughes's calibre.. I hope that i am wrong i really do
opinions4u
So Hughes had an offer from us. Then a better offer from Notts County. Could he have been using the Notts County offer to try and up the Latics offer? Could the Fleming loan be funding an improved offer to Hughes? Prolly not lol.
