Fan up the ladder
According to the BBC Transfers page, Paul Gerrard has joined Stockport County. There's one player I didn't think we would see against us again. I thought he had retired and was satisfied with Masters Football! http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/8125943.stm

outoftheblue
Player/coach. Half decent stopper, but the worst kicker of a ball that I've ever seen at BP (Anyone remember THAT performance at White Hart Lane c1994?) I was delighted when he left us. Managed to persuade my Dad to got to the match (he was a lapsed Latics fan). 15 minutes into the game 3-0 down after two of the most sublime and inch perfect passes to the spurs strikers, unfortunately both from Gerrard, and he never went again...... It was game over!!!! Not happy! Thanks for reminding me of that, it's much funnier now than it was at the time!
