Diego_Sideburns Posted September 3, 2009 Share Posted September 3, 2009 As part of the Pennine Lancashire Festival of Food & Culture 2009, the World Gravy Wrestling Championships were held on Bank Holiday Monday at the Rose ‘n’ Bowl bar restaurant, Stacksteads, Rossendale. Taking stock of the competition in 2,000 litres of out of date Bisto gravy, the women's title went to Mrs Christmas, Emma Slater, 23, from Oldham.
