jsslatic Posted September 30, 2009 Share Posted September 30, 2009 (edited) Went to Selhurst Park last night and Leon was leading the line for Wednesday. Wow, I'm glad we didn't keep him. Bloody useless. Burst into the box on a few occasions but couldn't hit the target in a series of clear cut chances...genuinely awful. I liked him at BP and thought once he'd got his sharpness back in front of goal he'd do a job for us...well it still hasn't happened. Clint Hill played at LB for Palace and played very well. JJ came on as a late sub for Wednesday and burst past Butterfield...and with players waiting in the middle for the late winner he spurned his cross high and wide for a goal kick.
