help_shiny Posted October 28, 2009 Share Posted October 28, 2009 I watched some of this (turned on at 3-0) as I can get Spanish TV - couldnt believe my eyes when I saw the score. Was worried that the 2nd half would see normal service resumed but no! Great stuff! The ground was pretty shabby so they interviewed Valdano after the game standing up in the stand - cue lots of locals standing on the pitch chanting rude things. The look on Perez's face when the camera went to him at 4-0 was a sight to behold! Had to laugh. Must take issue with the BBC (and all the other British media that I've seen) - they might be a crappy 3rd division team (which in Spain is lowwwwwww down) but they certainly dont come from a village, it's a fair sized town/city.
