Neither, get a 24, 181 or 182 bus from Lever Street couple of minutes walk from Picadilly, or if there are a few of you share a cab. The train doesn't get you anywhere BP and is the stations are nowhere near the pubs. The buses drop you of a couple of minutes away and by the boozers you would want to be going in.
