pukka
Someone sat behind me thought they "didn't put any effort in" on saturday. Sorry, but that was not the case. They became nervous and made poor decisions. On sunday during the spurs vs qpr game Scott Parker ended up whacking it out for a corner when QPR had got back to 2-1 and were on top. Ray Wilkins said "shows what nerves and pressure can do" - It effects everyone, we just need to bounce back. Kuqi, Clarke have a big job to help lift the lads up. There was just nobody in the back 8 with the sense or composure to take the game by the scruff of the neck. The collective poor decisions throughout the team were extraordinary. One exception would be Chris Taylor. His ability to need treatment for a couple of minutes to take the sting out of the opposition is exceptional. Shame those minutes get added on at the end though. Out of interest, first half injury time lasted 3 minutes. Any idea why? Edited November 1, 2011 by opinions4u

Any idea why? 3 goals = 1.5 mins (the board was held up just before they got the corner), a bit of arsing around extra before the penalty = 30 seconds and the obligatory 1 minute they give anyway Edited November 1, 2011 by pukka
