opinions4u
Not just Furman and Tarky's who make the occasional poor back pass. Some Scouser has just done much the same in the Greedy league.
oldhamoafc
The thing that frustrates me most is that Furman is playing as a centre half for periods of the match cause he comes so deep, but its not like he turns and drives us forward. It either goes back to Cisak or a defender! Your the captain, time to step up Dean.
iamjonesyyoafc
imo Furman is having to do too much, covering for out of position CBs and Changy too much when he should be allowed to concentrate on his own job, Furman without Wesolowski is a defensive midfielder when partnered with Changy. Changy chases forward for the ball rather than staying in position and helping Furman when other teams are attacking and too often doing the jobs of a lazy Simpson and before saturday a lackluster Slew, in saturday's case it was an out-of-depth Winchester who's still learning his trade. Someone needs to teach Changy to push forward when we're attacking but then return to position when the opposition inevitably win the ball. A lot of you moan about sidewards passing but there isn't much more he can do with the ball, he hasn't got the sublime skill to take players on and is a very poor man's Xavi. If a through ball is on he will play it, the problem is noone moves for him. Simpson stands infront of the CB waiting for the ball to come to him and that does nothing for us, the only player usually in tons of space is Lee Croft but noone seems to be able to find him. There isn't much we can do about it but itd help Dickov if he could get someone to sit in the RRE and look for the space on the pitch as itd be pretty hard for him in the Main Stand and the players on the pitch. Acres of space on the right wing against Walsall and it was the same saturday against Stevenage. Although I do have to admit Stevenage are a good physical side, I doubt we'll come up against a team as tall and rough as that for the rest of the season.
