Won't be an issue if half the customers have spent an hour telling you to fuck off beforehand.

    Hi David Unsworth

many many people in customer service roles (wrongly)take abuse day in day out

    McDonalds staff

    Sky Customer Service

    Mobile Phone Customer Service

    Supermarket workers

    GP receptionists

    999 call operators

    A and E staff

None are able to reply in kind without consequences so you are talking bollocks

No, not at all. It wasn't supposed to be like this - if it was, then they would have been better off sticking with Shez (and I know he was not the long - or even medium term - answer). The quandary they now have is how to get rid of a clearly inept manager without it causing a huge rumpus with the likes of Joe Royle.

This simply can not come into it and I doubt Frank is so soft he would allow it.

I love Joe as much as the next fan but his record on managers for us is absolutely abysmal with this one being the worst (and probably most expensive of the lot).

If Joe and even Darren (and I want them both around) turned out to be deal breakers then thanks for the efforts guys but there’s the door for you too

It is true, it was me who he told to fuck off. I “politely” told him in the 92nd minute we’d had zero shots in the game and that it wasn’t good enough. To be fair I didn’t even swear until after he swore at me. Won’t lose any sleep over it at all, but you can’t be reacting like that no matter the situation.
Surprised he stayed on the pitch so long at FT, because he was getting absolute pelters from the fans walking up the tunnel, and he’s usually the 1st one up those steps!

Make an official complaint in writing. Gross misconduct in any companies books, using foul and abusive language in public to a customer.

Maybe, just maybe the owners need this excuse.

You should lodge an official complaint to the club and get some witness statements as well. Any leverage against Unsworth will be welcome as the man is taking the club down again with his fucking abysmal football and arrogance.

I'm watching Altrincham vs Wrexham and the football currently being served up by Latics is embarrassing by comparison.

    Twat out.

agree with this a complaint should be made especially if you were not abusive

if I, or anyone on this board were abusive to members of the public when representing our employers we would be in the shit

  4. At the risk of doing a BP1960 Im leaving here now. Far to toxic and full of BS. Shame as it used to be a good place.

I go into hospital on Friday so have bigger issues to deal with.

Good luck all, we all want the same thing (most of us). Ill try to remember the prefiction league

OWTB fact now. Doesn't matter. He also kicked the clubs tea lady in the face on the way out

Whilst "storming out" may be an exaggeration it is fact he left well before expected as Matt first hand states that he and the rest of the press team were surprised at being left to wait so long before Suzanne saw his car was gone

And Ebrells interview does not stink of someone "prepared"

I think you're taking too much from the last two league games.  The only thing that saved us from a routine home defeat against Notts County was two major cock-ups on their part and the Dorking game seems like a freak result that flattered us (from reports - I didn't go to that one).  3 wins in 20 is the stat you should be looking at, with a "back to normal" defeat in the cup at the weekend.

The "time to gel" excuse is a myth - teams aften change manager and then have a bounce straight away. We've had no short-term OR long-term bounce under Unsworth.  Football isn't that complicated.  He's shown at no point in his career that he's capable of managing a senior team.  It's blind faith and nothing more. The improvements you claim to have seen since Nuttall's arrival are negligible.

Entitled or concerned about your club?  We're within our rights to let the club know we're not happy about the manager.  Making some noise is better than nodding and shrugging our way into the National League North, in my opinion..

Hes winding you all up, like he always does...

    Just ignore the nob

First post, Southend fan in peace. Gateshead beat us 3-1 to end a 12 match unbeaten run that had seen us into the play offs. We also lost at Roots Hall against bottom of the table (at that point) Torquay. Our manager, Kevin Maher, had a sticky start when he took over from Phil Brown. We were in the relegation zone. Perhaps time will tell with yours.

Is that the same Kevin Maher who played for us?

To say the current board are getting away scot free suggests they should be getting stick and criticism. Seeing as their “crime” is trying to give the coaching staff as much time and backing as possible I’d say that suggestion is complete fucking bollocks and an insult to what they’ve done for the club to date.

    17 minutes ago, Careca9 said:

they took a risk. Looking at it, he was highly rated and his coaches come with decent record. It wasn’t too bad an idea to give him time. U have to be absolutely awful at managing to relegate us when we are backed. Unfortunately is panned out that he is tactically awful and likely our worst manager ever, certainly statistically. The board are a little unlucky but now look stupid they didn’t run a proper process

    Crimes. . 😂😂😂

No one has said or claimed any of that fabricated nonsense.

They have done everything well, apart
from one very simple thing. . . their illogical backing of a man with 15% win ratio.

Maybe their patient will pay off, and if it does-  I’ll be the first to say I was wrong. If their patience doesn’t pay off- it won’t be Unsworth fault for not resigning it will be the boards fault for not sacking him earlier. Something I’m sure they would accept and have to learn from.

6 minutes ago, League one forever said:

Yeah, I’ve no problem with them  appointing him.  He was just as much of a risk as any other rookie. It’s more the acceptance of a mistake and learning from it- before it’s not too late.

    Time will tell I suppose.

Not a crime but a monumetal mistake giving the dud a 3 year deal

He won't walk (who would) and sacking him will cost a fortune... No way has he and his staff come cheap

Another defeat, another Monday evening with him still here. . .

I think Paddy could be right, and he is as close to unsackable as it gets. It’s starting to feel like the tail is wagging the dog, and the Rothwell’s are deferring to Joe’s football knowledge- (cough friendship with DU) which you can understand to a point. But when does that go out of the window for what is staring you in the face?

People say Franks has gone all in financially on Unsworth- but the players and ancillary staff all stay. He needs to pay up three hefty wages- which while significant, can’t be the end of his money or we really are struggling. I don’t think it is money, I think they don’t want to upset Joe and sack his mate. I’m convinced any other manger would be gone by now.

If any of this is true then its unbelievablly stupid and niave. If this was the previous owner doing this we would be going mental, yet these are getting off Scott free.

Nothing to do with the advertising boards he keeps belly aching about, thats the pylons that have been neglected for years

It was tongue in cheek, you should know me by now. However, Corney pleaded poverty, Frank hasn't that excuse.

As for LED advertising, I'd get rid if I were Frank, it's a total distraction and nuisance.

Yet used by every professional club up and down the country

In his first spell with suffered from the same judgement as Pidge did from a certain section of our fanbase - labelled as "shit", when in reality he got involved more than anyone else and didn't hide and in doing so made the odd mistake, when others around him were too scared to.

A fully fit Gardner is first name on the team-sheet in from this squad.  Unfortunately, he does seem susceptible to injuries now and can't play in the way he used to, which is a shame.

"Pidge" was shit more than he was decent for us, his sending off and subsequent renaissance for Stevenage establish him firmly as a pony tailed cunt

Gardner was average first time, and past it now

    Release him

He's shown at times he has something (as well as pace) so I'd keep him and send him out on loan to get games. Looks leaner than when he first played so could do with bulking up a bit.

Agree. Should have been loaned to a club like Ashton Utd for a season and had the chance to get a regular run of games and confidence up if he did well
