I think Shez is struggling to atract players here.

Loads of players who could have done a job for us have moved on.

Its a joke.If no players come in as im beginning to fear then that spells disaster.Whats the problem?Forward thinking club building a new stadium,just had a nice windfall from the cup with the very real prospect of further progress and more cash.

I think somebody needs to remind the owners that this club is going nowhere unless we get out of this horrid division,if theres no investment in the team this time they can go and whistle for the extortionate prices they charge-i'll watch sky sports soccer saturday like 90% of the rest of oldhamers.

Dont post much but some of the stuff on here is quite frankly unbelievable.

Yes a draw at United or any of the big prem clubs would have been fantastic financially,but then again we could have ben drawn away to southend Plymouth portsmouth swansea coventry etc etc etc.The fact is we have an amazing chance of making it to round 5,we can then take on one of the big boys with more money under our belts.

Taylor wouldnt look out of place in a pub team to be honest.He cant tackle and he cant cross to save his life.His only quality is his pace but he's that scared of losing the ball he tremers like a:censored:ting dog when the ball is at his feet.

The club did a photo shoot with the squad and coaching staff and the clubs main sponsors on thursday, the lads are all together, there is no dressing room split. there was a good atmosphere and they were all having a real laugh with each other. Greagan is not the captain off the pitch Liddell is and i believe he is a very good club captain, he is constantly helping out the younger players in the squad in training and staying behind after training with them to help improve various aspects of their game and has become more and more vocal on the pitch this season which i think will be a good thing. I personally didnt want Moore to be sacked (think i may have been the only oldham fan with that opinion though!!) but Sheridan has come in and done a decent job and just because we are in a bit of trouble at the moment it doesnt mean he should be sacked. Yes he has made some bad signings but all managers do that, he i still learning. A guy was yelling at Shez today that he should never have signed McDonald and that he had never had a good game for us, is he for real he was one of the main catalysts for our turn in form last season, though i admit he is struggling for form just now. We can't keep sacking managers as soon as they hit a bad patch, let him work through it, they will come good it will just take some time. I always thought that as a club we had a really good set of fans and the fans and the club were always together but the last few years as soon as something goes wrong there are sections of the crowd that turn on players/managers in a second and seem to want a scape goat that they can blame everything on.

Cheers,I can only comment on what I see on the pitch and the vibes dont look so rosey to me?Anyway,if what they other guy said about shez shouting those obscenities for me he should take a long hard look at himself b/c thats unacceptable and almost certainly counter productive.

I dont think we are but i do think we have signed some very mediocre players and i also think the dressing room is not a happy one,yes they players are underperforming but i think there are reasons and they rest fairly and squarely with the manager.I'll give it a month and if things have not drastically improved he'll get the elbow.watch this space

i think get some one else in fast while theres chance to turn the season round, we do have a good squad i just dont think he can motivate them players

Hmmm well while i think JS was an oustanding player i have serious reservations about his man management skills.(And after some of his signings i have doubts about his judgement of a player).

all i saw was him shouting at them, he wants them to do well but motivating them by shouting your F**king S**t infront of 5000 people ant helping and shouting at tompson why the F**K dod i sign you well i give him 2 more games in my opinion and if no change hes gone for me

If he was actually shouting those words then my fears are confirmed.THAT IS NOT THE WAY to get players performing,if this is true i'd say get rid SHARPISH

Whilst it is early in the season i cant avoid becoming a bit concerned about the MANNER of the defeats.

IMO Something is up in the dressing room,doesnt seem to be much confidence or positive vibes coming from the players and JS has made some poor signings in retrospect,thompson crossley are terrible and are not good enough,liddell is well past his best and allott is obviously of italian stock(only goes backwards).Taylor thinks hes better than he is(akthough he was one of the better players today),and hughes needs a lot of time.Ricketts has been playing like he has ricketts and well,thats half the team!!!!
