What I cannot get my head around, is how a bloke who has spent his whole life in and around professional football, can seemingly be so inept at deploying tactics, man management and fan engagement.

When discussing the 2019/20 season they made it clear to him that their intention was to appoint a head coach and for them to deal with recruitment.

He couldn’t work under those circumstances and left.
