  1. Boundary Blues are taking bookings now for our final away trip of the season to WALSALL on Saturday 2nd May.

Last season, this was a great trip, with Walsall laying on football and a buffet lunch and we were invited into the Junior Saddlers' lounge where there was a tuck shop.

Tickets can be bought from the Latics club shop, priced £12.50 members and £20.00 parents/guardians. We will be leaving at 11.15am.

    :scarf001:

  2. Thanks everyone for attending last night, the kids seemed to enjoy themselves as usual! It was a shame the numbers were down on previous parties but we advertised it as much as we could so not much more we could've done to get kids there.

I spoke to 2 dads whose kids had been picked out as mascots for next season, both were very happy and I think they are counting down the days until the fixtures come out! :bounce::bounce: It's always the dads who are more excited about going in the dressing room before kick off than the kids :-)

I can't believe my girl won a prize in the raffle and had pick of the table, she choose a cap :ohno:

  3. The Boundary Blues end of season party is this coming Monday, 20th April at St Anne's Rugby club, Higginshaw Road.

Tickets are £6.00 for Boundary Blues members and £7.50 for non-members (parents, friends etc).

Joe Royle and first team squad should be there, the player of the season will be presented, kids will have chance to play games with players, there'll be a question and answer session, time to get autographs, every child will get a goody bag, a raffle will be held and the mascots drawn for the first half of next season. Also included in the price is food!!

Tickets can be bought in the shop, or, you can now pay on the night. If you want me to reserve you a place, you can reply here or pm me.

  4. Just a reminder that tickets can be booked in the shop.

Also, if any members haven't voted for the player of the season yet, please get your votes in before Saturday 11am.

Another thing, we have lots of this season's gift left so lots of members haven't picked theirs up. These can also be picked up from the shop.

  5. good evening lisa..are you doing a trip for the brighton game..

We're not unfortunately, we have arrangments with certain other clubs in the league who also organise these trips for younger fans and it was agreed that this season there wouldn't be a trip between ourselves and Brighton.

  6. Our End of Season Party will be on MONDAY 20th APRIL at St Annes Rugby Club, Higginshaw Road, 7-9pm. There will be games, as well as a question and answer session and a chance to get all the autographs! There will be a free goody bag for all members, face painting, DJ and as usual a buffet, a raffle, a quiz and the all-important mascot draw! Not to mention the Boundary Blues Player of the Season award!!

You can get your tickets from the club shop now. They are priced £6 for members and £7.50 adults. Tickets are again expected to SELL OUT so make sure you get yours ASAP. :blueball::blueball:

Here are last nights text messages between Mr.Savage and I....

Me: which train are you getting into town on saturday?

Sav: I was thinking about half eight ish and get a brekky at the cafe ouside the station for about 3 quid for a full english and a brew

Me: righto, sounds like a plan i'll see you on that train

Sav: I will have a gander in a bit and let you know the times

Me: sorted it mate. leaves cas @ 8.17 and gets into vic @ 8.38?

Sav: 8.22 at mills hill. my option, its a date.

    Me: okay, see you then.

I'm surprised and shocked that there doesn't appear to be an 'x' at the end of that!!!!

  8. As far as I'm aware, we've not had any warnings yet and will only get one if the ref thinks one is needed. Most supporters at BP now know that we use the multiball system and are aware that the ball should be thrown to a ball boy and not onto the pitch, however, you always get one who hasn't read the program / tried to hear the PA system!

We try to make as many people aware of the reasons behind multiball and they way it operates but unfotunately you can never communicate the message to everyone. If away fans threw the ball onto the pitch at every chance they got, it would still mean a warning and a fine for us. The ball boys know the rules and have done a good job so far, the people who would cost the club are the supporters who are trying to help the game along.

  9. I hope she never gets to see any of her children ever again, she doesn't deserve to be a mother. It's a privilege to be a parent and bring kids up, why do some people insist on dragging theirs up? I knew she wasn't right when the poor kid went missing and the mum was pictured carrying crates of beer into the house. Low life scum who should rot!!

Right, I'll get off my soap box now!!!

  10. People are just trying to be careful. People have priorities. In normal times Latics would be near the top, but we're in for a struggle so things have to give.

    Completely agree!

It's all about priorities for most people.

If I didn't have a pass for home games, I wouldn't go to all of them simply because I couldn't afford it. I don't work at the moment so my other half is supporting the family and paying all the bills and that is our priority at the moment, we are lucky in that we are not struggling but I can imagine the mortgage companies faces if we ever said 'sorry we've not paid this month, we spent £80 getting into 2 Latics home games, £20 on pies, £6.00 on programmes and £60 on 2 full kits for the kidlets for Christmas plus the £60 we spent on the away game' :-)
