  1. Keeping you all up to date!!

The end of season party is now available to book, you can get tickets from the club. All the details can be found here http://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/page/Junio...,,10337,00.html

Boundary Blues prices are frozen for next season, with a membership costing just £10 and membership plus a season ticket £50. Membership is open to anyone aged 6 to 16. Members can benefit in a number of ways by receiving discounts on party tickets and soccer schools run by the community trust along with subsidised away travel and match tickets to certain games. You can also have the chance to be a match mascot at home and away games. The kids are the future of the club so please support Boundary Blues and encourage anyone you know to become a member.

We will be saying goodbye to some of our ball boys at the end of the season, if any Boundary Blues would like to put their name down to be a ball boy next season, just let us know.

You can vote for your player of the season by completing the form you would've received with the latest newsletter and dropping it off at the club shop before 24th April.

Please support Chaddy in running the London marathon!! www.justgiving.com/runchaddyrun...donate here

  2. I am sorry if you have seen enough from me regarding the Marathon and my plea for sponsorship but with less then a week to go I am on a final push to try and raise some more money! Having spent 4.5 hours on an exercise bike dressed as Chaddy yesterday I am as ready as I will ever be for the London Marathon!

Despite being a beacon of health and fitness next Sunday really will be hard work but the Stroke Association is a fantastic cause!

Please sponsor me here www.justgiving.com/runchaddyrun or drop me a message!

    :goggle:

I hope Chaddy appreciated our donation yesterday, it meant we had one less drink last night but we won't hold that against you!

  3. :scarf001: In an attempt to keep fans up to date with what is happening at Boundary Blues, I will try and post an update of what is going on. :scarf001:

This week and next week the community trust are holding soccer schools and street cheer sessions around Oldham. These are available to 5-7 year olds (half day) and 8-13 year olds (full day). These are great courses, and kids can attend one session or all of the sessions, they are open to both boys and girls and are run by qualified CRB checked coaches. I've taken my 5 year old daughter on them and she loved it even though she can't play football!! More details of venues, cost etc can be found here Community Trust Boundary Blues members will receive a 10% discount on rates.

On Monday 3rd May we are holding our end of season party. As this is bank holiday Monday we are going to start earlier than usual so the times for the party are 6pm - 8pm. It will be at St Anne's Rugby Club on Higginshaw Road and the cost is £6 for Boundary Blues members and £7.50 for non-members / adults. We have an exciting night planned, with a chance to meet the players, ask them questions, get your autographs and photos, play games, be drawn as a mascot and win a cool raffle prize. There will be a buffet, a quiz, music and the chance to meet Chaddy the Owl! Tickets are available now from The Latics shop.

All Boundary Blues members should have received a newsletter in the last week or so with details of how you can become a ball boy for next season and also how to vote for your player of the season. Get your votes in now as every vote counts!!! You can drop your votes off in The Latics shop.

Also this week, we ran a coach trip to Huddersfield last night which will be our last trip of the season. We are reliant on other clubs in the league having an agreement with ourselves and we mostly go to the closer games, this season we have not run as many trips as usual as lots of teams in our league are a few hours away. We hope next season we'll be able to do more games for you at discounted prices. Thanks to everyone who came on the Huddersfield trip and a special thank you to Dean Jackson who was our mascot!!

If anyone has any questions about Boundary Blues, you can leave them here or PM me.

  4. For those of you lucky enough to be Boundary Blues members, we are running a coach trip to Huddersfield!

    £12 for Boundary Blues Members

£22 for non-members who are travelling with a member

Ticket prices for this game are £12 kids and £24 adults. However, if you book with Boundary Blues the ticket price includes coach travel and match ticket. I appreciate that this is short notice and we don't usually travel to away games during the week but we are doing this trip as we have been asked to do it by a few members plus it's the school holidays.

We will set off from Boundary Park at 6.30pm and will need to choose a mascot at random.

Tickets will be available in The Latics shop from tomorrow (Tuesday 30th March).

  5. We still have some places on the Boundary Blues coach to Stockport next week.

Prices are - Boundary Blues members £10, non-members £16, this is the price for coach travel and match entry and places can be booked in The Latics club shop. The coach leaves Boundary Park at 6.15pm

Jacko - you have 3 places booked that you asked for last time, you were going to pay on the night, I presume you still want them?

    Jacko

As long as they are travelling with a member of Boundary Blues then they can come with us.

I have added them to the list, numbers 43, 44 and 45 under your name. They can pay on the coach, it leaves BP at 6.15pm.

    Thanks, see you later

  7. This trip is still going to run to the rearranged match on Feb 2nd. The coach will depart at 6.15pm and the cost is the same.

We will not be able to take Stockport up on the offer of football and a buffet with the match now being midweek there is not the time available for it.

Also, a mascot place is available to a Boundary Blues member travelling on the coach, someone will be picked at random.

  8. Not sure if you can answer but.....

If we purchase tickets and the match is postoned is a refund available ?

Do the Boundary Blues have to take kit/trainers/boots ?

    Thanks

Yes you would get a refund if you can't attend the rearranged match.

The football is at a place called Powerleague Stockport which I presume would just need trainers.

  9. The Boundary Blues are running a trip to Stockport on January 16th. Tickets are available now in the club shop priced £10 members and £16 parents/guardians. Tickets include both coach travel and match ticket.

The coach will be setting off at 11.45am from Boundary Park as before the game there will be the chance to play football against the Junior Hatters and there will lunch provided at Edgeley Park. One member will get the chance to be the Latics mascot for the big derby!

We think normal ticket prices for this game will be £12 kids and £17 or £19 adults so this is a fantastic price!

Just bumping this up in case anyone missed it the first time around!

  11. Boundary Blues Christmas Party

This coming Monday, 14th December, Boundary Blues are holding their Christmas party at St Anne's Rugby Club on Higginshaw Road from 7pm until 9pm.

Dave Penney and the first team squad will be there for the children to meet, have photos taken with them and they will autograph items. Each child who attends will receive a goody bag and the chance to play games with the players.

There will also be a raffle and prizes will include a chance to go to training one day, signed items, club merchandise etc.

Each Boundary Blues member will also be entered into a draw to be a mascot at the remaining home games this season. A question and answer session will also be included so start thinking of your questions!!

If that wasn't enough, Chaddy Owl will also make an appearance!

Tickets are £6.00 for members of Boundary Blues or £7.50 for any children who aren't members and adults. The ticket price includes food and tickets can be bought from the club shop. If you are unable to get to the club shop, please send me a PM here and I will save a ticket and you can pay on the night.
