Against Liverpool we scored twice in one match from corners. Have we scored twice a season from corners since?

I was doing the Parkrun at Heaton Park today when who should run past the other way...big Jean-Ivves. Had his Latics training gear on so i hope this is him maintaining his fitness for us ....
Pete, I think what you meant to say was "I was stalking big Jean Yves M'voto running round Heaton Park today, when he (dressed head to toe in Latics training gear) gave me the slip. After frantic minutes trying to track him down he sprinted past me the other way and made good his escape...still, I got to smell his sweat. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm'voto. I made a mural of his face on my wall from empty Jelly Baby packets"

It might attract the Sky TV camera's more often. That brings money in.

I would rather watch rugby!

Andy Goram was only slightly taller than a jockey!!

So the boring drudgery of the close season is upon us. But does anyone know when the fixture list is announced for next season?

Give him a contract. I have said it before and I will again, but as a fully paid up member of the Goalkeepers Union you are always going to be highlighted for your mistakes as they can lead directly to a goal, whereas a midfielder or defender always has someone behind them to mop up their mistakes. He is young, and he is learning. I actually feel that he has improved in his time at BP. And lets face it, Amos (who has played Champions League football) still had his share of Massimo Taibi moments.

Top fella, not least because I played for the staff team v the fans the day before my aunties funeral and got a black eye. As a pallbearer I was mortified....until the Czuczman magic was weaved. Top bloke and unbelievable score at Scrabble.

Can't remember when, but when a paltry few Brighton fans turned up at BP there was a rendition of "Come in your boyfriend, you must have come in your boyfriend"

Marketing has certainly changed since the 50's.
O'Hara Supper Bar is advertising Pudding's, Pies, 2 Dining Rooms, Service and CIVILITY as reasons for going there. I take it there were some supper bars in Hollinwood where Civility was not on the menu.

I had tonsilitis. My Dad would not let me go, even though I croaked my fitness, I had to wait until Midweek Sports Special on ITV.

What about developing the mill site on the other side of Chadderton Way (behind the Rifle Range). Still in Oldham, nearly at Boundary Park, still close to motorway etc etc etc

winter break please FA
If we did have a winter break the FA would plan it for December and the cold weather would come in January!!

I am absolutely disgusted at the timing of this postponement.
Shopping in Bury by the looks of things tomorrow. Black Pudding Butty for breakfast is my only silver lining.

Wayne Andrews was the original sniper victim as soon as he set foot in the box

I once saw Darren Sheridan trying to run off a broken leg!!
Doug Hodgson was the type of player who would run through a brick wall, trouble was he was so daft that if you called him back he would run through the wall again creating a different hole.

There was also the theme from the Rockford Files played at home matches, if I remember rightly from the 1980's.

Get Hardy's bitch to walk round with a sandwich board...
I think Big Gord ate the sandwich board.

Wayne Andrews was like s*** off a shovel, but when he got to the penalty area he either let loose with a s*** shot or went down like a sack of s*** with minimal contact from a defender...or a breeze...or the spinning of the Earth.
