Goal! Oldham Athletic 2, Grimsby Town 0. Callum Lang (Oldham Athletic) header from very close range to the top right corner. Assisted by Mohammed Maouche with a cross.

Roy said Iacovitti can play CB, seems AL has lined him up to be Clarke's replacement next season.

From Jon Chubb.
Sounds like in his interview with anon at the Chron AL was just stating the fact that he doesn't own the land etc and has been misrepresented in yesterday's article.
The issues uncovered were probably the debts.
Also from that old that article in the MEN ""Mr Corney believes that in Mr Lemsagam he has found the right man to take the club forward and one who has the resources, skills and contacts to do so."
Sounds like both of them were conning each other.?

It said at the start Tracy (who I think is Underdog) took notes. It was on social media for the 1st hour.
It was on social media! I didn't come across any links on here.
I look forward to reading the minutes.

That's Abdallah picking the team for the rest of the season...
From Sky video.
Reporter "Has he (AL) ever asked you, told you who to play?"
Wild " (AL) No, never asked me to pick players",

The search will need to start fairly soon, as Iversen won't be here next season and De La Paz is a real unknown quantity.
De La Paz did OK when Iverson was called up for the Danish U21s earlier in the season.

I wouldn’t blame Scholes, yet anyway. Came in at the wrong time, it should have been in the summer. Sign a deal and keep wild till the end of the season. But it’s done now, let’s hope AL can be patient....
We can blame him for the game tactics.
Unless the players are playing deeper and deeper as the game goes on under their own volition.

It's the covers that ruin the pitch which must be left on all the time when it's frosty overnight. If they were taken off during the day I guess it may be a bit better, but it would be quite a bit of work for the grounds staff. It was worse last year because it was colder and he covers were on more.
It's not just the main pitch, the training pitches need replacing as well.
Al_Bro, Didn't know that the pitch cane under the Sporting Director remit - get back to finding some good players for us.

You will know better than me but how quickly can you change the mindset of a player in their mid 20s?
Also taking into account, nothing of note will have taken place last Tuesday. Day after a match would be light training (I'm guessing), Thursday possibly full on training, Friday light training and tactics (again I'm guessing).
I'm sure Banger will have had his failings pointed out to him by previous managers. Hopefully he'll take notice of what Scholes tells him.

Isn't that the point though? He (apparently - long distance fan here too!) shows he has talent but doesn't seem to be bothered/is incapable of stringing it together consistently?
If he could do that he'd be at PSGFC not OAFC.

So ghostofcecere believes that after we've finally made what appears to be a fantastic managerial appointment we now have a group of people looking to buy the ground with the aim of overthrowing AL? (Thats the impression ive got)
As many people on here believe he is an egomaniac i think that might rub him up the wrong way would it not? Can't imagine that being a good thing
AL needs to be kept WELL in the lop during the BP negotiations. If he isn't interested in buying/can't afford it/can't get a consortium together to buy it , then he needs to have good relations with whoever does own it.

As I see it, the main interest from the fan led group will be to push on with the houses that TTA didn't follow through with on little Wembley and the back of the RRE, what we get out of it as a club remains to be seen.
Maybe I'm naive buy I would HOPE that the fan-led group were in it for the security and benefit of OAFC and not just to make a profit from the land.

Doesn't make one bit of sense if the person bidding isn't Abdallah or his associates.
I'd rather BP was owned by a fan-led group then any owner, present or future, of OAFC.
