  1. Hughes goal against bournemouth, ruben hazell's against leeds Kilkennys at doncaster Three best contenders for goal of the season so far me thinks, any others i missed?
  2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qJS2PKC8JI Not the best video quality in the world but hey, what a day!!!
  3. With no other winger than Taylor, Davies ends up playing too wide resulting in us playing 4-5-1 and at home it nulls the game against an already defensive opposition. Away from home its ok as teams attack us and we can counter with speed. We need another wide player to start with Taylor so our front two don’t have to go deep to receive the ball.
  4. Its the fact its a scvm song that makes it better, its a complete micky take. He Plays on the left......................
  5. For those that dont know what i am going on about watch the clip, and substitute the words for mine. BE WARNED THIS IS A CLIP OF THE SCVM. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=2GHqFT-TehQ
  6. While I am here what do people think of the following micky take of the dirty red Ronaldo song? He Plays on the left, He Plays on the right…, That boy Chris Taylor, makes Ronaldo look Sh*te. Think that would look great if 5800 Latics are doing the actions at everton! Sad….I know.
  7. A few short non descript videos from roots hall, Not the best stadia in the world but made better by the 3 points for the mighty festive latics! Jingle bells Jingle bells ……………… http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=rwLGluNvQ0k http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=AsowiLv7ilI
  8. Wouldnt be a bad idea to have a positive refreshed approach for them both.
  9. That’s great if you’re already a fan and have a season ticket. The demographic I refer to is the neutral U18's and neutral adults that have to have the incentive to start going to games. You don’t just decide on the off chance to buy a season ticket, the vast majority will pay full match price to their specific price tier as their induction. What’s the cost then?
  10. It is something that needs a lot of thought and wont be solved overnight. One idea is to have more price increments that help to appeal to the various age groups. At the moment we have: U12 12-16 OAPS Student Adult. I know that most clubs now operate the following structure when it comes to ticketing: U12 12-16 16-17 18-21 Student Adult OAP Also the more professional clubs have membership schemes / clubs like our Chaddys gang and boundary blues but they integrate some of the membership benefits to the community more. For example if you’re a member there’s additional clubs associated that provide football training classes/ Academy’s, sports equipment for schools etc. I think with the facilities that are to be provided within the refurbishments these structures and membership schemes should be easier to integrate and operate in-house.
  11. I know what your saying but having been to the Liberty the past few seasons it isnt exactly in the town centre or somewhere where I would allow my kids to go on their own, Hence their theory of at least one full paying adult going with them on match days. Swansea have the capacity to more or less give 7000 tickets away and I dont think the £23 season ticket is that much of a strain to them in the great scheme of things. I used Swansea as an example of clubs reaching out to that particular demographic, obviously we have other factors which you mentioned to take into account. What we cant afford to do is to ignore the problem of attracting a new generation of fans to BP, While our illustrious Blue nosed neighbours play in the premiership and sell tickets cheaper than we do.
  12. The Pricing structure of match day tickets once the ground has been fully redeveloped, Has too many variables to take into account for me to pass comment on. One thing I will say though (not meaning to state the obvious) is the commercial success of the stadium on non-match days will definitely be reflected in ticket prices. There has got to be mentioned somewhere in the TTA’s master plan, a strategy for attracting the youth back to Boundary park in large numbers as did Swansea at the start of the season with the £23 season ticket offer for juniors. I know our ground isn’t that big and Swansea sold over 7000 of said tickets but the “Lost Generation†has surely got to be the next step in securing the future of our beloved club.
  13. I am fortunate enough to not worry about ticket prices but the thing that gets me is the pricing structure of tickets in England full stop. For example, Everton fans can watch their team play away at Middlesborough for £24. We play Leeds in the 3rd division and its £25?? The prices in this league for whatever reason are just to high to attract a new fan base. I know there are 101 reasons for this but it’s just a catch 22 situation and football on TV doesn’t help. Look at our Tuesday night games for example why would the neutral pay £20 quid to watch 3rd division football when the champions league is on TV? I only hope the New ground can obtain other ways of income to subsidise some of the cost of match day tickets. We as a little club are losing the Kids TV generation of Football Fans, that don’t go to watch the game live because its on TV and ticket prices force them out of the market.
  14. See a 360 view of Goodison. http://www.bbc.co.uk/liverpool/city_views/efc_view.shtml
  15. Diego, thats just melted my head whats your point again??
  16. It wasn’t that I didn’t see that ed posted, I posted so that you could see a comparison between the two, and work out the demand / supply of tickets and be in the best position to examine the current economic climate within tickets sales at boundary park! HONEST
  17. Went to the ticket office today to buy yet another ticket for everton (7 in total Bloody part timers) and i was a little shocked when the lady told me as of 9am this morning we had sold 3700 for everton and only 1300 for leeds! In my Best Delia voice " Where are you, lets be avin you"

  19. I was there along with my mate AND we got a pat on the back from................................... SIMON CORNEY!!!and a "thankyou for coming lads", i wanted to cry and hug him lol i am so happy i could pee myself!!!!!!.
  20. I don’t know about anyone else but the things that make me sing are banter with fans of the opposition and us on the attack or controversy on the pitch with bad tackles or poor decisions etc. The other thing is seeing the players play with a real die-hard attitude or gladiator like passion. Take out poor decisions and ask yourself do we get the above at home these days? Also we hardly sing our famous “Come on Oldham” Chant at home these days because every time we get a corner or some action the drum starts, Drums kill lengthy songs this is a fact. Also a key factor is Alcohol intake, I am more likely to sing at away games because I have the “I am on holiday” mentality and I am probably a little tipsy! Lol P.S. I holiday in Grimsby.
  21. I got it on good authority that the plans will be passed this time without doubt. I know that’s vague and I don’t expect people to be jumping for joy based on this post but I feel better.
  22. Can anyone else get on you tube or have they kicked me off already?
