Absolutely I will send some life boats. I made the mistake of thinking that satire might be appreciated but had not realised how many satyrs inhabited this site
My behaviour is nurture not nature. 52 years as a season ticket holder at BP gives you a certain mental predisposition and makes you appreciate Kipling's thoughts about the imposters which are triumph and disaster.
It turns you into the type of person who knew we would not equalise at Scarborough in 1972 the last time we lost to a non league club..I was there..and yes it was me at Wembley who was telling anybody who would listen that United were going to equalise.
The best thing about Johnson is that he is not Penny
I notice your location is down as Purley. My son graduates this month and has taken a job as a civil engineer with a firm in the centre of Croydon from September.he is now looking to find accommodation ( professional house share) in the area. Are you able to offer any advice on which areas he should avoid and any which are more favourable etc...
Many thanks
The preseason tour of Latvia has become a long weekend with the territorial army at the end of Broadway
The one player he would want in the trenches with him has been released
He has set them all contract deadlines to reply and will not wait for any of them... mvoto can now have as long as he wants
The deal he has shaken hands on has collapsed
I am really worried now that we won't get the drummer either
Row and tier can be synonyms. Where they differ is that tiered seating ride in height, rowed seating can de on a level plane as in a hall. So tiers here is accurate
Is it only me who had failed to realise that the new stand is going to have only 14 tiers of seats( the bottom section of the CRE has 13). Looks like you'll a paddock view and very wet!
Whatever the pronoun " it " refers to which in this sentence you could argue grammatically is the Kilmanock left winger. However that would be incorrect since the winger is male and so " him" would be the correct pronoun . Consequently it is legitimate to expect that the reader could interpret " it" as the place Kilmanock. Sloppy use of subordinate clauses and relative pronouns I agree. Mea culpa....but when in Rome...
interesting replies but academically could I caution against using Wikipedia in your bibliography and expecting a grade B in Science..not even in an individual science.....to give credibility to any argument.
I find it fascinating that we are all experts on Kilmarnock's left winger when I wager that 9/10 on this site could not place it on a map?
Dayton is 5 foot 7 and less than 10 stone. With Millar, Wesolowski, brown and him we only need another 3 dwarves?
So his first 2 signing have played just 5 English professional games between them and are both left sided wide men
Jury out on this manager big time!
Wabarra is bigger and quicker and no matter how many games he plays brown will not develop in those areas......Furman, wes, Murray, brown and croft....all we are short of is Snow White
So why would simpson if he wants to play for us not sign an eighteen month contract and be faced with a 12 month contract at reduced terms...the truth is that he spent all January looking for a better offer from another club..he is doing the same now. At best we are his PlanB
Am I right in understanding that Corney recently stated in the Press that Simpsom was offerd an 18 month contract in January but refused in favour of a shorter term contract to the end of the season?
