Parker's freekick was superb.
Was fortunate to be sat just to the left of the goal so saw the delivery, trajectory and the satisfaction of the ball smacking the corner of the frame, down across the line and into the net.
The great thing was Parker just beforehand. He kept glancing over at that far corner of the goal so you knew that he meant it and you couldn't score a better freekick, right in the corner.
seems to of had laugh with penny when he scored... couldnt really see what he did put all smiles
quality!!!!

I don;t mind admitting I got a lump in my troat when I read Lidds story.
But then I did with your story to prozac.
Then I got to the end.
My son is called Daniel and he is is just over two years old.
Jolted me in my tracks I can tell you.
Like Dan, whom you answered, having to bury a child must be the most heart wrenching thing.
I am slightly de-sensitised, as where I work they delaw ith poorly children even those wih cancer, and you see if every day.
I think that is what makes your story a bolt from the blue prozac.
I think we have seen a little bit more of each other in this thread, and it puts the discussions about whether the stadium is too big or not into perspective (not having a pop at CJ, I was equally involved) just what is important to discuss.
Heartfelt wishes to Lidds and his family
spot on!!!!
wonder how many ppl will go home and give that extra little bit today than they would normally... you can guarantee i will... and ill be shown nicola this thread just to show how lucky we all are no matter what happens

Brain damage affecting her gross movement and fine motor skills, learning and difficulty in carrying out the everyday tasks most of us take for granted.
sorry mate... yeah true we all take it for granted and also dont resect other people enough and understand what other people have or have not got in life... make you think when you hear about other people like youself and lids.. its an eye opener to me and im going to grab things with two hands to ensure josh has the best in life or what i can give him in heart and guideance, such a shame when you hear stories like this..
sorry for being so morbid about this but it just makes you realise.... sorry if ive worded things abit wrong but im not good at wording things ....

I felt very sad reading this story and my heart goes out to the Lidds family, our own daughter had complications at birth when she came into the world 9 weeks too early in 1991 and suffers from cerebal palsy
Life can deal you some terrible blows at times but it's how you bounce back from them that makes you stronger, All the best Lidds!
ps Donations been made
what condition is that mate?? if you dont mind me asking...
-
ive ben threw 3 miscarages i know its not exactly the same as lids but still hard times chin up m8
same here an ex had a miscarage, but now got a lad (4months old) and that is just shocking news
RIP...!!!

not a done deal but should happen... if donny dont find out
also when oldham went top of the league in shezs 1st season.. the TTA refused to give shez money and said yous your kids and we nosed dived.. oh well old news now
KP would do well with Richie wellens playing his through balls... might have a gamble on leicester wining promotion if the KP deal goes through

Didn't Port Vale get over 5,000 season ticket holders last season after a similar thing
cheap ST offer mate

i love it when ppl say players are awful and s***, let all remind are selfs are we pros at football???
-
Concur, this lad kept Pav quiet all match won absolute everything in the air (down the middle). Thought the pen decision was a bit a lucky, Parker will do that to many this season.
Impressed with Parker he worked the channels well and was a positive from the match. If Taylor, Smalley can get themselves in the box for the subsequent cross we'll do alright out of it.
but if we dont get decent CBs in then we will get beat 2-1
-
Yes but we need someone to bollock Gregan for his mistakes...
-
I'd love to see us get this bloke in on loan. He was as Carl says an absolute monster. Strong, tall, quick, he'd do an excellent job at League One level. Not a problem at all.
Give Steve Bruce a call, Dave. Forget Haining and Baba Ogunbiyi, we've found the lad we need at the back.
i thought we have got gregan back ant we???

if you love oldham, you will ask questions as to this huge probable moment in our history before being fully convinced.
lap it up like a little puppy if you want..some aren't.
i know its a massive moment but im just putting my opinion across that if you love oldham you should watch them anywhere so moving 4miles down the road wont make a difference
right ok ill put it this way
...oldham are playing say leeds people in failsworth might say oh ill watch that game lets go and watch it its not that far only 5mins walk, theres is more intersest in football in failsworth than there is in and around BP.. due to the asian community and BP not being as nice as a new ground would be... now that would put more people the the turnstilies
-
if you love oldham you will watch them anywhere in oldham/manchester.. i live in failsworth and have come upto oldham every other weekend to watch oldham and never complained about it so whats the difference in me coming to oldham than you coming to failsworth....??? is it that you have to travel abit further than me... i ant siad out for 15years so why are people complaining about this, no one is never happy in oldham we are getting a new stadium 12000 or move i dont care just as long as we can build on it... its a new stadium new start and its in a place/town where people like football not cricket
-
Schmiechel did a lot of that too at Man Ure. It's a non-issue.
im not saying that im saying he bollocks other people for HIS own mistakes..
-
I think even if you didn't give Gregan the captaincy, he'd still shout and scream at other players. Some of it is fine but a lot of what he does is blaiming his mistakes on youngsters beside him. We seem to have a more experienced starting 11 this season so I doubt 1 player being a captain will effect anything on the pitch.
he shouts at other players when he himself gregan kick the ball in to touch
s*** news but in DP i trust
-
stops pigeons roosting and :censored:ting on the seats
is there really any need for swearing... i think we should take him off this board
-
the ones like QPR look good but could you expand them with our massive fan base????
-
i just asked him about all of the origianl designs in stands, hotel, gym
wouldnt be that bothered about the hotel and gym just as long as they keep the stand plans which they were half decent and looked NOTHING like col and shrews
