  1. Get him in, according to skysports hes avaible for loan to find his best form

Could be the answer... and dont think they will loan him out to another championship side but then again billy sharp is at donny from sheff united but worth ago i reckon????

target man aswell, tall and quick....

  2. I agree. I had some mong behind me yesterday who I've never seen before yet spent the entire match ensuring that my ears were ringing with abuse aimed at:

Brill, Gregan, Hazell, Colbeck, Furman and Blackman. Oh add in Penney and the ref and his assistants too.

I'd be quite happy if he sat in the RRE for the rest of his life.

I was making a point. People like Rick moan very loudly about the club trying to make money, blaming the "match-day experience". There hasnt been a "match-day experience" since I started going! As I said above, the home fans dont even fill the two stands they are given. Shut the RRE and give the moaners one less thing to moan about.

shut the RRE and have no singing at all, LIKE YESTERDAY!!!!!!!!

giv the chaddy end to away fans... simple

  3. I have been reading one or two comments on Facebook with regards to the kick off time for this game and the knock on effect of all afternoon drinking for some/both sets of fans

Has it put you off going to the game? or even bringing any kiddies with you if you usually do that is.

Do you think our attendance will decrease or increase in home fans that is.

    Your thoughts guys....

    no not one bit

  4. Disgusting RBL, we should be turning down the good money of the travelling Hudderfield fans, what with us being massive. We were in the Premiership you know!

Edit - If more home fans could be bother dragging their fat arses away from their Sky subscriptions, we would be having the debate about the rights and wrongs of giving away fans the whole of the RRE!

    true!!!

if we would of been getting 6000+ home ans this year, we would have the small section aswell.... i know it annoying but what can we do about it

the only thing i dont like is the lying, the club say they dont want fans clashing at the back of the stand but on either side of the RRE there is 2 big doors to send fans out of, so why lie when they could just tell us the truth that its about money (which im not against) but write absolute gash about fans clashing :ranting:

thats the only thing whay annoys me

  5. Tend to agree mate we have brought poor numbers to oldham over the last couple of years bar the fa game not sure if you take better numbers everywhere than us as we tend to have a decent away following and when we do well it a very good away following but cant argue the fact that over the last couple of years your numbers at our spot have been impressive.....anyway think we have shifted 2000 already and its pay on the day so i expect a 3000+ following.

    .

not saying your away following is poor just the numbers to oldham are... if its 3000+ you should get the small section... ITS ABOUT TIME

  6. Agree about it being a dull game. All the entertainment was provided by the Latics fans on a stag weekend, having banter with the over-officious stewards. The bridegroom wore a rubber owl head-dress and the stag lads all wore cardboard owl masks The rain stopped before the match, but the seats were wet. Standing on the back row was allowed, but requests to others to sit down were met with protests about wet seats. This resulted in plastic ponchos and brown paper towels being given out, and one steward went round wiping each seat before the stag lads would sit down.

A good wishes message for the bridegroom was anounced over the PA at half-time. The chanting and banter was hilarious at times (including "sit down if you're 2-0 down, stand up if you're 2-0 up!") and resulted in the head steward realising that he was better off joining in with the fun rather than continuing attempting to enforce nonsensical rules in a sparsely-occupied stand.

The singing was quality rather than quantity. Great result and everyone gave the players and management a standing ovation at the end, which was reciprocated.

Another great weekend, and the weather was sunny, Brighton breezy.

nice last 3 words bit cheesy tho but good

  7. There's no point opening up the ticket allocation debate and how many they will sell...... the facts are, based on our home attendances so far this season there will be plenty of room for all home supporters in the Main Stand and Chaddy.

i know there will be room... not saying there wont be just pointing out that even tho they get bigger crowds AT HOME we take better numbers away compaired to what we get at home... prob 1 in 2 of ours goes to hudds while 1 in 5 come to oldham

  8. Well what would you describe it as?

normal standard of living, not posh and drinking out of are china tea cups whilst avoiding the cow s*** in the fields on are daily strolls, o yes arnt we posh darling... just people who get on with life as normal as they can AND WHO DONT THINK THEY ARE BETTER THAN EVERYONE ELSE

yeah who doesnt get the k*** head types of people but they are everywhere

so where BP is now, is that not a s*** hole area???

  9. Noting how well the artificial pitch played quite well in Moscow the other night - and even won the approval of Sir Alex, I wonder if such a surface would be suitable for the proposed new stadium in Failsworth, and would the current F.A.rules allow it in England, if it doesn't worry FIFA why should it worry the F.A. ?

The pitch in Moscow seems vastly improved on the one previously at BP and the spins offs financially would be considerable to a club like the Latics.

Incidentally, could Rugby League be played on these surfaces, if so ground sharing with the Roughyeds would not be such a major issue as the pitch maintainance would be neglible.

there only good if maintained well enough, its prob abit diff stuff but the one at failsworth isnt as good now because they have black rubber bits on them but half of them are in my house now  as they get every where, and need topping up alot.... but that moscow one did look top of the range product

as to the rugby are they sharing?? and i dont think it wouldnt be a goer as you cant slide on it as far as you can on grass so that would stop alot of long sliding trys... would be fun tho

  10. ]

NOW ENTER WHAT YOU THINK,THEY ACTUALLY MEANT

There's been a lot of positivity about the ground move...the local businesses in Failsworth are particularly supportive, lots of letters, phone-calls emails and texts received in support - the businesses can't believe their luck that a football ground wants to move into their :censored:-hole slum of an area!

some people aren't true believers about the new stadium or convinced by the necessity of the move, Barry what the fook do we pay you for - you said the dissenters would have been silenced by now.

need a stadium with four sides, pleasant to visit and able to entertain guests - yes it will pleasant for everyone to visit, especially the opposition as we'll have spent all our money on a lego stadium and because we'll be getting crowds of 2,500-3,000 we'll have a conference standard squad.

still a little bit of opposition and not reported correctly, - How dare the press report people's misgivings

sensitive to opposition - but we'll ride roughshod over you...

but we are the custodians of the club - and we feel we can say balls to all of you and do what will earn us the most ££££££

and we think it will be of benefit to the club and it is the right decision - We hope anyway...

    - not a done deal, if this goes tits up we're gone

Some people just don't want change - none believing wankers

Still hoping to break ground in the Spring- 2013

Corney reckons the training and professionalism and camaradery is the best in his 6 years - The new manager does not let me interfere

Pleased for Brill in his upturn in form (must be pre-Southampton)-we thought he was a feckin' donut, now we think he's average

Newton reckons the new ground will be the catalyst for increased crowds and that will bring success on the pitch - we'll enjoy several last day escapes

Penney - culture of inclusion, professionalism translating itself onto the pitch - the players look very smart in their new Primark suits

Mood in the camp is a marked improvement on previous regimes, training hard - the cattle prods were a sound investment

Loanees - Corney do we ever say no? only when the player is not represented by the stellar group

Newton - We'll have to see how viable the request is. - How desperately do you want the player Dave? - dance like David Brent and beat Big Gord' in a pie eating contest whilst singing Nessun Dorma, then we'll talk....

sh** hole slum of an area???

    explain
