Any news on if/when 100 club tickets will be available for renewal?
Or is the rumour about a boycott of the North Stand hospitality facilities next season true ? ( you don't need to answer this question)

Named ‘head coach’ this time meaning AL has free roam to play Football Manager.
Yeah, it seems his way of 're-connecting' with the fan base is to just be more open about the fact him and Mo pick the team
rather than to stop doing it.
Branger will be pleased. First name on the team sheet again.
Doubt we'll see Hunt playing for us again. Expect Iacovitti to start at left back from now on.

If it's true that Lemsagam paid Corney £3m and the land is 'worth' £6m and two stands need very significant work (at best) it wouldn't be hard to put the overall price, before any playing investment and running costs are even considered at well north of £15m.
Hmmm.
I may be should have added that neither of those people would be in a position to get anywhere near to funding this venture from their own wealth.

So they want Lemsagam out?
I've heard the names of two of the people allegedly involved in this. Neither of them are fans of Lemsagam.

You might struggle..... but it was happening. Hunt was banished because his Agent was touting him about to other clubs and the owner threw a hissy fit. A procession of players have received the same treatment, including Dummigan. Hunt wanted to leave. Edmundson wanted [might still want?] to leave... it hasn't been a happy camp. The owner's behaviour is to blame for much of it.
In this morning's Sun, the match report claims that Lemsagam banished Hunt from the squad for refusing a move to Lincoln in the transfer window. It says he refused to leave because he'd have had to take a pay cut .....
Having said that, the rest of the article was littered with inaccuracies, including calling the caretaker manager "Chris Wild", so I'm not particularly inclined to believe it.

Couple of points on this;
surely as kitman at rochdale the club would be wary about continuing his employment if they are aware he is happy to go off on one to make abit of extra cash from a shit newspaper.
2nd hope they have asked him why Bradford sacked him? (Allegedly)
3rd has he paid us back for all the club kit he ‘borrowed’ and never returned? (Allegedly)
He was the biggest gossip going most negative stuff came out from him think that was common knowledge.
(put the alledgedly in for mods)
Indeed.
I got talking to him at event a couple of years ago. He'd never met me before but straight away he started slagging off several of his colleagues at Latics and told me quite a few stories about them. I subsequently found out that at least one of those stories was definitely not true.
So I wouldn't take anything he said as gospel.

Gardner was on Radio Manchester earlier talking about the Scholes appointment.
Also said that he'd had an operation last week and wouldn't be fit until next season. So we might well have seen the last of him.

Only Port Vale off so far but it’s early. Loads off lower down the leagues as expected.
Crewe called off yesterday.
Cheltenham just gone now.

I only have one question. Why have they approached the trust after all this time?
Good question.
One might speculate that they might need the trust on side for their future plans for the site. They have to give the Trust 6 months to consider making their own bid if they are planning to sell don't they ?
Given that they both live in the States, I'd be surprised if they were coming all this way to just to have a casual chat for an hour on a Monday evening.

Why couldn’t Minay have said that?
These reporters just love sensationalism don’t they?
It's conceivable that he has received some sort of embargoed press release that he can't publish until a certain date and time. If that date is tomorrow the only thing he can say is that it definitely won't be today.

Any of them going to massively improve the side? Not convinced myself.
Massively ? No.
I'd say the bigger effect is on our attacking potency by using one of our most creative players as a makeshift full back and replacing him on the wing with someone who is clearly less effective.

Bit of a red herring really, no way Lemmy is telling prospective gaffers that him and Mo will be picking team and players.
I think that's the point. Of course he's not going to be telling Scholes him and his brother want to pick the team. But Scholes has to decide whether or not he believes him.
-
Mike Keegan says Scholes will take it if he is confident that the Lemsagam brothers won't meddle in team affairs ....

He probably wants to offload the North Stand on him, it's losing money I reckon...
Or keep AL sweet whilst he tries to offload it to someone else ...

The Times still think Scholes is getting the job...
“It’s not important what pundits think. I don’t understand why managers even give it the time of day.” Paul Scholes tells @DickinsonTimes about swapping the studio for the dugout #MUFC #OAFC https://t.co/jZ2rNyaatN

I think there are some follow up interviews going on after the press conference.
May be one of the journalists might get a less ambiguous answer out of him then.

Strange timing in so much as they've just won 5 on the bounce and confidence must be high.
Must be desperate to get closer to home.

It's no surprise that AL wants to go down this route. It's clear from his actions thus far that bringing in players from overseas, through his network of contacts, is a big part of his plan for the club. I think he said as much publicly when he first took over.
I don't have a problem with the Sporting Director model. It is pretty much the norm on the continent and managers there are used to working that way. If well implemented, it is probably much more efficient because the club dictates the type of player required and thus avoids a complete overhaul of playing staff every time the coach changes.
The model is obviously not so common yet in the English lower leagues, where most experienced managers still expect and want to be in charge of recruitment. For this reason I can see the next incumbent being either a foreign coach or an inexperienced British coach willing to work without having control of recruitment.
My bigger concern would be the credentials of the man filling the Sporting Director role. I believe it is a key role in this type of set up and I think it needs to be a man with significant experience and knowledge of the game. Ideally having been involved in management,scouting/recruitment or coaching roles at different levels for a significant period of time.
I don't know much about Muhammad Lemsagam but can find no record of him having worked in professional football before. Therefore it is difficult not to reach the conclusion that his only qualification for the job is being AL's brother.

Miller back for tomorrow night.
Surridge out for a few weeks (hamstring).
Taylor not ready yet (hamstring).
Coke due back in training next week.
Zeus out long term according to Bunn.

The club is rudderless, sacking our manager would make no difference. Our owner was absent again, just Barry Owen and another guy in a cap in the Directors seats.Trust rep (supposed to be on the board, not yet appointed) not in Directors box. With our owner being absent who is running the club? If its Barry Owen thats double trouble.
The guy in the flat cap was AL's brother I believe. He is probably running things here whilst AL can't get in to the country.

Well, ain't that just what we need. No Miller or Taylor either. Or De La Paz, oddly enough.
Taylor has tweaked his hamstring but hopes to be in contention for Tuesday. Don't know what the problem is with Zeus.
Maouche injured in warm up!

Surridge has gone back to Bournemouth. Injured in training, scan on Monday. Sounds like he'll be out for a while.

You're right that the leap to it can "only be because the owner has something to hide" is speculation on his part. In our case it could just as easily have been done because the club sacked the person who used to prepare the accounts and no one else has picked it up.
But I think his speculation is informed by his experience of such matters. He studies this type of thing for a living and has experience of seeing these events unfold at several clubs throughout the football pyramid. I suspect that him speculating that there is something to hide comes from the fact that, more often than not, there is when this happens.
