Looks similar to the stuff that was all over DK's Twitter
Without wishing to sound like a mouldering old fossil, can we not ditch all this Power-Point, scientifically influenced, point-of-maximum-opportunity bull:censored: and just play football?
These guys are run-of-the-mill league one footballers whose brains would do better to think about what to do with the ball at their feet, rather than having to consider that the ball is in 'quandrant 3 of the mildly threatening zone' and that they should be running to the 'position of the most opportunity for defensive rebuffing', FFS!

A polished turd.

Does anyone know if she's playing with two up top?

Working an absolute treat thus far.

Excellent summary!

A clock is right twice a day
Only if it's broke.

Quality spelling mistake that!!!
Never trusted those latins.
What have the Romans ever done for us?

Personally, I think it's a disgrace. No professional game of football should end up five all...
Some folk just can't allow themselves to be entertained.
-
With this 100 member club ST package, does one get there very own ? I've been looking all over for one..
This is a prestigious membership scheme, you'll not get a sauce, you'll enjoy a jus.

I've read some jaw-dangling corkers on here but a debate that a player - who actually scored - should have passed it to a team mate in the build up will long take some beating!
-
... and counting. Bravo!
-
Would bring a relevant new meaning to the 'lanky-lanky-lanky-lanky-Lancashire' song....
-
A combined aggregate of 2 - 21, that's phenomenally :censored:!
I'm going for 0 - 0 tomorrow.
-
...and counting - oh dear.
-
A big personality, a bit of pantomime and a whole load of passion. I think it's what this club needs to give it a boost at the moment.
Would probably end up crashing and burning, but what a ride!

Neil Pointon was pretty well 'ard too.
We'd be waving cheerio from the stands for that tackle in this day and age.
-
Dougie Hodgson - nails!
-
Perhaps he's been told he can only go once we have our replacement lined up and ready to take the reigns.
-
I stand corrected he did come on although I thought he was another black this bloke
Have I just misread that somehow?
-
Steve Bruce now weighing in with his two penneth worth saying Evans should be allowed to play, and his conviction looks dubious.
Is the weight of public opinion slowly turning in his favour?
-
No one has called Barry Owen a turd.
In the midst of all this chaos and shambles, this has got to be the funniest statement I've read!

Its rumoured the PFA contacted us given our experience with Hughes... We are now the go to club for ex-cons...
Welcome to Halfway House Park.

And just when you think this sorry saga could get no grimmer.....

Leaving aside, for a moment, the rights and wrongs of whether Evan's should be allowed to play professionally, a couple of things really nag at me about this signing.
Firstly, I don't believe for a moment that this decision has been made in order to 'rehabilitate and reintroduce into society' a player who made a monumental :censored: up. I think it's more like short-sighted expediency on behalf of the club to sign a player who, under normal circumstances, would be above their pay grade. That rankles.
More than that though, this last few days have ruined any enjoyment I feel at the prospect of going to watch Latics. Saturday afternoons represented a certain form of escapism. A couple of hours where a person can forget any other hardships and enjoy (occasionally) an entertaining spectacle supporting the lads. Slightly simplistic perhaps but that's what it meant to me. Now, walking down Sheepfoot Lane, all I'll be doing is questioning my own morals and ethics, due to what those in power have decided, and dreading the poisonous atmosphere which is bound to follow this club now like stink on a :censored:e! That I find extremely irksome.
I genuinely fear the long term consequences that this deal will have to the image of this club. But, hey, if it brings us success, then that's all that matters according to some.

Those things probably work wonders for British cycling, but that's at the elite level of the sport. The same scientific approach may give the elite football teams of the world an advantage. I just don't think it does anything but over complicate the game at our level.
Interesting where the link 'See British Cycling' takes you. Do you think having that as next years home strip will give us a marginal gain?!
