As others have said, if the referee stops play due to a head injury the player should have to leave the field for x mins. Maybe x = 5 ?

If Norman had let 8 in in 3 games there would be blue murder on here, still think our best keeper is on the bench.
Freeman better than Sutton, I'd probably go with Hogan over McGahey on today's evidence who made an habit of giving the ball away today, wide areas are our weakness though and unsurprisingly that's where Thompson was keen to strengthen, Green is a passenger for large parts of the game and today even when we isolated him on their full back he wasn't prepared to knock it past him or have a run at him, Hope is industrious and that's about it.
We just don't have enough quality and players prepared to make things happen, Norwood in fact probably played his better football when he dropped in to midfield but that is a result of us being so poor in there, three or four times today we had players on the last man and nobody from our midfield had the vision to just slide the ball in behind. Why also can't Sheron receive the ball on the half turn and drive us forward, it doesn't always have to go backwards to our centrehalf, our attempts to transition play is painful at times yet teams to just stroll up the pitch against us at will. It was an improvement on Tuesday but that's no bench mark, there is so much to work on but unfortunately Mellon is going to need both players and time in my view to make it work.
Finally what's Fondop done to piss Mellon off?, we've just not seem him at all when it appears he could have done some sort of a job in the past couple of games.
Couldn't disagree more about McGahey. Thought he did really well still marshall the play even from CB!!
When he brought the ball forward we basically had an extra man in the middle. I'd be sticking with and telling him to keep driving us forward.

Thought we played ok today and comfortably looked the better team.
Freeman gave us much better balance (once the rustiness lifted)
I wouldn't change that back 4 now.
We need a forward like Nuttall but better.
We need a winger like Green but better.
Hope wont lose his spot in this team now, been impressed with him.
Unlucky not to win that. On to the next !

On one hand, I couldn't give a shit if we won a 4th qualifying round match in the cup. On the other, I'd be buzzing with a cup run...
Will be a bit sad not to be in the Fa cup proper for the 1st time in ....how ever many years it is.

I wouldn't say uniquely the train companies struggle too. As anyone who went to Halifax on the train last season and got the first train back to Dale / Manchester will attest. The same thing happened when we played Wigan away at Easter a few years ago.
Not really comparable. Train companies have the added complexity of the rolling stock needing to be in a particular place for subsequent services (including the next day)
A football club has no such excuse

Eh????
Are you gonna get Sam Corry to do a range of OAFC Che Guevara hats?
Indeed! Is there not already enough virtue signalling opportunities for people already without our football club being dragged into politics. Deary me!

Just give him the job and back him. Players like him and he's one of us.
I agree. He knows what's needed. Let him get on with it

Quick question…
We are bringing our daughter tonight and she doesn’t have a Season Ticket… is it cash only on the turnstiles? (Joe Royle stand).
I believe it is cash only

Before you judge we don't know the circumstances, it is hard enough if everything goes swimmingly. Family and health come 1st every time.
Ah yeah fair enough. Hope mum and baby doing well.

Sutton the 2nd biggest weak link in the team behind Shelton. Teams are constantly coming down his side because...well why wouldn't you!
Sutton will prove to be a good centre half, but he isn't a RB.
Where on earth is Freeman?

Dickenson is shattered

Shelton's tackling is so powder puff

They are playing it through us so easily

Im alright Jack, but what an incredibly daft call by the club.
A couple of days for ST, one per ST would have been the right thing to do.

Thompson, Redfearn, Murray. May as well postpone the recruitment process..

Very nice to watch, and I do like the approach, however I feel that anyone significantly better than Kidderminster would have scored about 3 in the first 30 seconds.
Absolutely, all well that ends well, but I'd put that st a 50% chance of ending very badly, and 0.05% at ending like it did.
The opposition were absolute spectators.

Anyone agitating for a change in CEO, advocating it or even mentioning it in passing at this stage of the game has lost the plot.
100% agree.
Parts of our fan base are absolutely bonkers.

Its baffling that people think Frank is making the call on "shifting players out before bringing any in"
Surely this is actually a Darren Royle call, who will be working to a pre-approved budget.

Disagree. Referees are doing their best and deserve respect.
