What's the harm in a guess....
Crewe Away.
-
Entrance Music: Fanfare for the common man.
Goal Celebration: Guns of Navarone- The Specials.
-
We were due to have the Specials song last year, but cause Franny 'didnt like it' we ended up scrapping it and having something :censored:e and unoriginal.
-
OAFCGuy you will find most of the FYC are no longer active in the hooligan side of football but Oldham still have a Hooligan side and some still call themselfs FYC due to them being a involved with them at a younger stage.
This place isn't the best site in the world for making up hooligan songs as most of the hooligan themselfs won't sing them in the ground and will be sang in pubs etc.
You already have had a put down and been called a copper on www.oldhamlads.co.uk which is the home of the Oldham Hooligans and now its the same on here.
Who even cares about hooliganism these days anyway?

I reckon we'll end up taking him on trial, and opting against signing him.
But if he proves his fitness, and does sign, he could be a good consistant performer for the season.
-
Interesting to see Mclaren & Mullin on there. A few other suprises Ryan Jarvis not made the impact I thought he might.
Also Danny Whitakker who was linked previously and Newby........
McLaren is a good player, but maybe not good enough for a promotion chasing side. Highly rated by some Tranny fans though.
Did the dirty on us however last summer, so not sure what id think to signing him.

64 grounds and im 17 years young, a few are old grounds, e.g. Wigan.
Not ALL with OAFC mind.

Obviously the automatic reaction from most would like to see us signing a Clarke or a Constantine type, but alot of us are always saying why not chance on those from lower leagues (yes, only one division lower i know) but why not give the lad a chance, and he might end up like plenty of strikers have done from league two or lower, and be successful in this league.
If it is him, of course.

Jarrett took full advantage of the ref's decision to turn down Sinclair's request to go to the toilet.
Love it, Best one yet!

Knew this was coming, hence why I didnt post it when I first heard it after the Donny game.
-
I hope Latics have had their shirt sponsorship money paid at the start of the season and not in instalments, or we'll be suffering as well.
I heard something about Latics being in trouble about this.
My dad heard something but didnt know the details, just that we hadnt received 'full payment'

Lauri Dalla Valle. Wonderkid.

Haha, apologies.
Yes, i meant Cov.
Editing now

Theyre arriving on Monday from....Argentina!
Neither of them speak english, but ah well.
We've had a few trialists in the last few weeks, and ive heard theyre not very good, apart from the young Cov. lad, who is the only one still at the club.
OH, and BIG NEWS...
We have an overseas scout!! He's called Julio apparently...big news for them who dont think we have scouts apart from Brown.

I will explain why they have put the pay on the day coach on.
I work in the shop and the first coach was full with no plans to put a second one on, until quite a few came in who have bought tickets and couldnt get to the game due to the full coach.
So the club, FOR THE FANS, put on another coach to avoid disappointment.
As it was around 2 oclock when this was decided, the only way to fill up the second half of the coach due to the shop being closed is to allow people to book in the morning and show people on the website.

Brains.
Not heard of those in a Latics team for a while!

Firsty, I think Latics fans have been very harsh on Thommo this season. He's had no time to prove himself, and the odd slip up in games he's played has meant, typically for Latics, get on his back and make assumptions about him.
He had a cracking pre-season, Tranmere rated him very highly, and Shez aint no mug and wouldnt bring him in for nothing.
So, here's his time to show what he's all about. And i think he's gonna do that for the remainder of the season where he will probs get a half decent chance of doing so. He, of all people will be most frustrated and itching to prove a point.
Alot will disagree, but just watch him come in and show us what he's made of.
You can hold me against this one
-
I think he does strike it lucky selling at BP?
-
JOE JOE JOE JOE JOE JOE JOE
Definatly.
Maybe another scout who's got a track record, and possibly some kind of experienced coach or director of football who may be a retired manager.
To be honest though, we say this all we want but its not gonna happen.
-
im gonna be awkward and go for 700..
nar only joking, I think honestly between 100 and 150. I still dont think anyone will beat MK Dons pitful away following of 80 in the 2004/2005 season
77 MK Dons fans. Bear in mind they won 2-1 that day?
Dodgy backpass by Eddie straight to McLeod.

I think the second half was superb.
Give this line up time, and for me everything will fall into place.
Davies played very well, yes a few dodgy touches, but he ran his arse off whenever he lost the ball, chased everything, made good runs into good position and grabbed a goal. Keep the faith in him.
Allessandra is going to be a class act for me, his hold up play has looked second to none in this division from what we've seen and when he matures, like alot of players in this side, he will be a good one.
Stam and Reuben, brilliant.
Jarrett, very very clever player.
Watch us go on a great run. Everything looks very good at the moment to me, a great blend in the squad, and a chance to push forward for the play-offs...and remember Hughesy aint back yet.
-
Back row, left to right: Bill Cranstan, Jim Fryatt, Arthur Thomson, Ian Wood.
Middle row: Alan McNeill, Jimmy Frizzell (Manager), Brian Turner, Harry Dowd, Jim Bowie, Jimmy McGregor (Physiotherapist), Barry Hartle.
Front row: Maurice Whittle, David Shaw, Tommy Bryceland, Keith Bebbington, Don Heath
all real fooballers who played for the club and fans and not just for money
Brian Turner...slight look of Scott Vernon?
No?.. Just me then!

Although a slight copy of Newcastle and City...i rate the scarf idea.
For our next away game likely to have a large crowd which will probs now be next season e.g. Leeds, Hudds, or even Dale if they make it...I had the idea of the club purchasing aload of scarfs, half of the load blue, half tangerine or white, dont have to be the best quality or have the badge on or anything so they arre cheap enough to buy.
Then when purchasing a ticket, each fan is given a scarf. And even to avoid our slightly stingy clubs costs, we could add 50p onto the ticket price, which im sure fans wouldnt mind paying.
Just an idea though!

Was a crackin' day, just a shame we didnt bring anything home. Played well early on, just lost it abit.
Everyone played well though, not a bad player out there.
Better luck next time.
