The official website says the date for the game has now been confirmed as Wednesday 12th August, 2015. What's that all about? We never play midweek home games on a Wednesday. Anybody any ideas why this is?

 

I'm at a stag do in Cumbria on the Wednesday, specifically arranged so that we could still make the game on the Tuesday night. That's the attendance down by 3. Gutted...

The reason he, and the rest of the whole squad, want to play for Latics is because they couldn't find somewhere better. That is the way football is now.

 

I understand that. That is employment in general, not just football.

 

I just don't get why he seems to be singled out for grief every time we lose. The majority of the team were gash yesterday.

Of course not. We were a stepping stone for both of them. They both left for more money and to play for bigger / better clubs. I get that.

 

Danny is one of us. He is currently out of form granted but he runs his nads off every game and actually wants to play for us. He'll do for me.

 

I'd rather have Gareth Bale and Harry Kane in our starting XI but they don't want to play for us. Danny does.

Said this For a long time fans like him because he runs around and gives it his best. Still remember when people said they would have him over Daniel Johnson and Baxter
