Like the plans so far, as long as we stay up this year it should be all steam ahead with the new ground.
-
Seen him a few times when playing for Norn Ireland would be good at our level. Knows where the goal is and would run his balls off the full 90 mins.
-
Ritchie great player but was a :censored: manager when he was here last time.
-
Never got a proper go at Oldham, hopefully we got a decent fee.

A mate of mine, one of the former top boys in the trust before admin came in, said that the game has to be on, as the administrators need the cashflow. They're not bothered about the result.
Why the hell are they having a pitch inspection tomorrow morning, when the game isn't until Sat afternoon and the Oldham team and fans don't have that long a journey to Stockport.
According to their main message board the pitch is hard as a rock and there is no chance the game will be on.
-
If he doesn't get his finger out for the Oldham he will be no where near the world cup.

FFS we have 6-7 first team players out injured, any team missing that many first team players would struggle.
Get behind the team and manager instead of starting stupid posts like this. We sacked Shez and looked what happened how many games did we win under Royle a big fat 1.

Fergie, what do you reckon to James McLean the left winger from Derry and Oliver Norwood the midfielder of Manchester United who played for the NI under 21s last night.
Would they be suitable for Latics ?
If I were you I would contact Alan Hardy and ask if the want a NI scout.
* Having studied the highlights of when Patterson scored 4 goals I notice he can use either foot with equal power, this is probably why he scores so many goals as he doesn't have to turn on to his best 'foot' as many even at the highest level have to do.
We have signed a few decent players from Norn Ireland recently Kirk Millar (Linfield), Philip McGrath (Glenavon) and McKerr and reading the youth team and reserve reports Millar and McGrath are having great seasons to date.
Don't know to much about McLean to be honest, all I know is that Derry have been dumped out of their league as they are £500,000 in dept and been doctoring players contracts unknown to the FAI. Norwood would be a good signing time will tell.

So what would this Rory Patterson cost?
He's on a 1 year deal
Contract up in June
-
If we have any sort of scouting policy in place at latics, they should already know about him and his current form.
alas, i fear they don't.
Oh yes they do, I mentioned their names to Alan Hardy a few weeks ago.

I support Coleraine and go to every game home and away if I'm not over in Oldham.
Rory would be worth taking a look at not to mention young Euan Okane (Ex Everton).
Both of these players are seeking a move back over to England, Rory's scoring speaks for itself and no harm he's twice the player than Peter Thompson. Young Okane was released by Everton in the summer my brother is good mates with him. Moyes told him the only reason he was being let go was becasue he was to small.
Rory scored 4 against the current Irish League Champions on their own patch last week. See link below.

I was chatting to a member of the Coleraine board after the Glenavon game on Monday night and was told that a scout from Watford was at the game as they are keen on both Rory and Okane. As it would gut me if they left my local club, the blow wouldn't be as bad knowing they where going to sign for Oldham.

I hope that we are getting decent money for this because policing costs will be crazy.
Who's paying for this game? Surely the FA are not handing out TV money when they are getting no revenue in for the streaming.
67,000 to each club

Top bloke is Alan.
Anytime I have spoke to him face to face or email he has been helpful and professional.

Ballymoney - Northern Ireland get to around 6 games a season home and away.
-
You don't know how lucky most of you are being based in England, I have supported Oldham for over 20 years and live in Northern Ireland. If I could afford it I would be over every week, it costs me on average £150 per game, including flights, car hire, tickets and something bought from the club shop.
I get over to approx 6-8 games a year, no matter how piss poor the team are playing I would jump at the chance to be there.

Looks like it
-
He has already played a 1st team game, aged 16, for Linfield last season! He is a winger, and a first year youth with us.
With Millar (U18 schoolboys), McKerr (U19s) and McGrath (U17s), we now have a contingent of players involved at N.Ireland youth level.
Being from Norn Ireland I have seen these guys play at youth level quite a bit, if they keep their heads down they are defo ones for the future.

Would you welcome him to BP as part of the deal to take Taylor to Leeds??

According to a very close friend of Neal's he''s gone to Blackpool for yes £175,000 plus add ons.
I hope this is wrong but the source has no need to lie.
If this is the case a shocking bit of business by the club.
More accurate than your other source Neal's friend ?
I think you will find I was correct on Neal's transfer or not a kicks arse off it, Blackpool initially offerred Oldham £175,000 up front with add on's at the time I had the conversation with this person therefore what I stated was fact. Not that I have to justify myself to you.

Heard that we have agreed to sell Taylor if Leeds stump up a million quid. That comes from a Leeds supporting friend who is well close to the comings and going at Leeds.

Did you forget he paid for the Oldham team out of his own pocket to travel over to Norn Ireland for pre-season back when Moore was robbing the club blind.
