  1. I agree about the national team, the fans getting behind England are great, but I wold say the foriegners have suppassed us now in terms of getting behind their clubs.

I went to a German 2nd division game last season, which had a better atmosphere than most Premierleague games I have attended nevermind BP. You might think it looks cheesy online, but it has never felt like that when I have attended a match abroad or european matches in this country. I dont think it is as orchestrated as some think, yes there are people who start the chants, but there is at all matches.

Yeah i've tried all of that before on here, the response... nothing.

we might get this sung back at us

They teach Greek's this stuff!?

  2. we have got 20+ eintracht lads coming over for the colchester and leeds away in feb

    I know about them.

Is it safe to stand in there as a non ultra? We got seats in the side when we went just incase we got any hassle.

Not really - I wouldn't advise it for a first time match anyway. I've been in the end's a few times and many a beer is spilt. Sniffing the floor is like dipping your head into an empty Keg (not that I sniff the floor! )

My season ticket is just above the Adler's so it's out of the way of that.

  3. Firstly, the Accrington fans were (for a League 2 side which kids who drink milk don't know) bloody amazing to say the amount who were singing. Now, me and my friends and a few others without a doubt were singing. 1/50th of the RRE were singing. It must have been myself and 12 other lads. I thought in all fairness we could of put on somewhat more of a show, no?

At one point at the beginning of the game, a group of kids towards the bottom of the RRE stand were singing which sounded awful.

(Also, someone asked me after the game about our "Dawson" and "Rochdale" chants. A friend of ours is a Rochdale fan, and for being the... he is bought a ticket with the Accrington fans!)

  4. So, what you're honestly saying is a ground in Failsworth, within the Borough of Oldham but that just happens to have an M postcode is NOT ok, but one somewhere the other side of Rochdale that happens to have an OL postcode would be fine?

    :clown:

I think ALL Latics fans (few in hand) are in denial, we will be a MANCHESTER TEAM, teams are named after THE PLACE THEY ARE SITUATED.

  5. Imagine people not missing cold weather. Shock of the century!

I find it amusing how someone who nails the colours of another team next to his home town which is thousands of miles away is upset about moving the club a couple of miles south.

At least Eintracht Frankfurt STAY in Frankfurt. They fairly asked fans about the move from the Waldstadion to the Commerzbank-Arena. I go to watch Frankfurt as much as I can afford it and Oldham too so please don´t bring my personal life into this. Next year i´m moving to Frankfurt for good yet I will still, with every chance I get, come back and watch Oldham play.

  6. What a load of tosh.

You think we're better as a club to stay at BP? and you'll stop supporting YOUR club if we move?

There's 1001 reasons why the move is the best for the club written by people on this board.

I can't even be arsed to explain. Be a real fan!

So it´s ok to throw away BP is it? Do you really think things will be the same. This is OBVIOUSLY not been taken into full consideration. Once BP´s gone I think fans will see then.
