To be honest I think there is a section of the supporters who are toxic, and it suits them that the team is struggling at the moment.

First time in 26 years I ain’t bought a season ticket, plus the first time I’ve booked our holidays in August, I’ve always booked in July so I didn’t miss any games ( the mrs thought I was on the funny stuff when the dates for the holidays was suggested) I’m currently in the Dominican, but was getting reports of what was going on against the mighty crewe on and off the field!! Well what a absolute disgrace, this Ignorant, arrogant, stubborn
Clown and his knob of a brother are bringing our club to its knees, I traveled down to fgr before I went on my hols and that team he has put together is only going one way! How can a owner treat his loyal fans left,by shutting all food outlets and putting in place what has seen better at a church fate!! This man couldn’t give a shit and proven by his actions today,I know plenty of hardcore fans who have given up before me, it’s a sad sad state we are in with this clown in charge !!

Fair enough and point taken but calling us a relegation team based on today is a bit of a nonsense.
Fair shout, but with these tactics today we won’t be far off.

I went today, with my usual 2 companions, we differ in age so have seen different eras but sometimes our player experiences overlap. Carlo Corazzin came up in conversation today, I think he was overrated others thought his work for the team transcended that and made him a valuable asset. In short, we're not an echo chamber for each others views.
When we started seeing comments about this being a relegation team, during (on twitter at half time), and after todays game based on todays performance we were all a bit gobsmacked to be honest.
We were at the end we defended first half, Wheater walked the game, should be captain, Sefil had a couple of heart in mouth moments but that apart the defence played solidly first half and Woods never had a save to make. Could have had a penalty at the other end for a possible foul on Wilson, other people might have been better placed than me to give an opinion on it. We weren't under the cosh.
Second half we actually had the better of the first 15 minutes for me but then things went South, we seemed to drop deeper and invite problems and shipped one.
Mills had a fair penalty shout turned down.
We lack badly up front and unless we recruit will struggle big time to score (so in one sense I get the relegation comments, if you're not scoring you're fucked) but that defence won't ship goals this season for me and given Wheater turned up a couple of days ago his experience should help bring Sefil on hopefully.
It was the first game of the season, away against a team who were in the play offs last season, not a disaster and you don't get relegated after your first game.
Possibly a slight overreaction going on?
They have lost their main striker and 2 of their main midfielders, plus Winchester who to them is a must in midfield was suspended!! A slight overreaction!! Nah pal they will be no way near the playoffs and the can be said about us

I blame the coach, his negative attitude can only pass itself on to the players.
His demeanor is even more depressing as he looks like he'd rather not be here. If he carries on like this maybe he won't for long.
What his anonymous assistant adds is beyond me.
Got to win the Euromillions, buy out this lot out and bring back the fast free flowing attackingfootball we have craved for years.
Spot on bp, he was so negative, believe me fgr where bad, but even at 1-0 up they still went at us for more

Done this for a number of years now when will we start with the instructions/mindset to go and win games?
Never, from what I have witnessed today against a mediocre side

Set up and played for 0-0, didn’t get it.
Even 1-0 he played so negative, Wilson off for desire, forest green even at 1-0 up went for the kill, knowing very well we were sitting back, there keeper was well out of his 12 yard box all game pissing himself, mills was the only positive upfront today( but ain’t he a defender)
-
How far can we sit back against this pile of shit, we ain’t had one shot on goal, no corners, FFS so negative!! Mills is are best striker
-
How defensive can we play against a piss poor team, best player mills in midfield ? That says it all with all the shit we signed midweek, so frustrating down to watch!!!!

Im not really looking forward to this one, not after the shite what has been recruited by the planks who are in charge and from what I’ve seen in the pre season friendly I watched, but it will be ground number 84 for me to tick off, so myself and my son will be making the journey down

We have just wasted a load of dosh, for a kick about in Morocco, ffs £40 on a shirt is nothing!

It appears that we have 15 or 16 players (and two of them are keepers) out in Morocco who are due back, I think, on the 15th. We play Rochdale 5 days later with nothing even approaching a squad. If those 15 or 16 are being regarded as first teamers (and let's face it, some of them are trialists), some bugger has got to act a bit sharpish to get at least another 5 or 6 in. A CB (or 2), LB, CM and 2x strikers. For God's sake, don't tell me that Detective Redfleece is dealing with it. Or are we picking up a few completely unheard of 5th division unknowns on the way home?
I'm going to Forest Green, fool that I am. Do I need to take my boots?
Yes, but at least we will have a good team spirit after kicking a football about on a beach and splashing each other in the pool!!!

It may be worth noting that the following fixtures are at risk of postponement due to international breaks.

October 12th – Mansfield (a)
November 16th – Stevenage (a)
February 15th – Forest Green (h)

Well that was quite shit today, considering Exeter fooked up before the game it gave us a glimmer of hope of the playoffs!! The game was played a bit like a preseason freindly, defensively sound, midfield average and fook all up front, ah well looks like another few seasons in the in this shit arsehole bottom of the EFL
