And if a third of our pitch wasn't in the shadow of the main stand, ours would have been played as well. The referee himself said that the rest of the pitch was 100% playable.

    Headline:

League 1 football club in "Sun Not In The Right Place Shocker"

The problem is obvious. The daft buggers who built the ground over 100 years ago built the main stand too high and in the wrong place. We should sue them.

I was at b&q this morning at 11 o’clock and saw two clowns with Oldham official gear on carrying about 8 gardening watering cans laughing, little did I know it was for waterering the pitch!! Why not hire a dozen industrial hot air blowers from hire equip or speedy hire for pittence!! As I said not even Sunday league

Missed Doyle today but two mistakes cost us the game.Fane played well again and  thought a draw would have been a fairer result.

Still not too concerned and lots of games to go.

Thought  the away support was crap

That was one big bore fest, brought my dad and other family members along for Boxing Day a big get together and what a load of shit, after the twating we got at Plymouth I expected a top showing today how wrong I was!! Plenty of ear ache after for paying £24!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Forgot to post in ny lengthy last one, 700 or so Bury for a local derby.....f##k off....pissed of with these "local derby" wank followings.....we'd have took 2k+.....sooner the likes of Rochdale & Bury arnt our "rivals" the better.....embarrasing turn out again we line their pockets with our great followings at these places and this is what they bring, tinpot black pudding shaggers.......sooner these go under tbe better they've had enough lives now no way they can sustain that wage bill and that smack head Beckford can do one the scruffy fu##er

Now now calm down, that lady will be having a word with you again ?

Just got in again and not read previous 3 pages as pissed up (regular occurance i know) ill read them tomorow.

From what i have seen since Wellens took over that is the worst we have played, pretty decent first half but in the 2nd half they went a form of 3 up top and we struggled massively with it and buy taking Mensig? (not sure who's who at the moment tbh) off and going a narrow diamond 4-1-2-1-2 i thought we would get murdered out wide, but fair play to the boys we ground out again and cant beat a last minute winner again against local rivals.......one thing that needs addressing in my eyes is the lack of width on the right side, he may not be in the best of form but you have to feel a bit for Dummigan he has abseloutely no outlet to pass forward to or cover him on the overlap....he's pissing against the wind most times.

Thought for old Jonny dick fingers before he gets banned for 10 games for having found to have an illegal adhesive put on his gloves......how refreshing in this day and age to see a keeper catch the fucking round thing made of leather and his distribution is phenomenal.......Doyle's chance to conversion rate is bonkers and Davies stay on your feet because when you do your an abseloute hold up nuisance....stop falling over and being a mardy bastard like you were 80% of the second half when we needed you to hold the thing up.......onwards and upwards.....come on you blue bastards

    Get in, Happy days

Interesting post match quote from Shez from Matt chambers' report:

“All over the pitch, we were second to the ball,” Sheridan said. “I am not going to blame the players.

    READ

“I will take it on the chin. I pick the team and I have just been too loyal to them. At the moment they are not giving me anything back.

“I am the manager and I have to take it. Luckily we have got a game on Tuesday (against Peterborough) and if I am here, I will pick a team that will hopefully go and try to win the game. That is all I can do. We need to start winning, no matter what.

“I am absolutely gutted for the supporters. Gutted, I am.

“They give me great support and I know they are right behind me. But they just can’t keep supporting me when we are giving them what we are giving them at the moment.

“I don’t want it to end up like that after what has happened. They respect me for who I am and as a player when I played for the club. They know my heart is there and I want to do really well for them. But I am just letting them down at the moment.”

Asked whether he was minded to carry on to turn fortunes around, Sheridan admitted he may well not have the luxury of choice now.

“I will think about it, but it may well not be in my hands. I will just see what is going to happen.”

Well feck off now, that was a embarrassment today

How is it invalid? Just because i may not have been sat on my PC or phone on OWTB the day we signed these players? or because i didnt invite you to the pub the day me and the lads talked about it, does that make it invalid?

The talk of us paying a fee and Corney saying it was the most he has shelled out on a player in Holloway, this is a striker who has yet to hit double figures in his professional career, we, a club with no money should not be paying money and big (for us) wages on this type of footballer, surely? Surely thats a valid point?

The fact that Davies hasnt had a regular starting spot or got on the scoresheet regularly for 4/5 seasons and yet we sign him?

Davies was a joke of a signing,as for Holloway he won't see double figures in games he plays never mind goals!!

Not sure why I am reading so much support for our strikers, im not confident that any of them would bag 10 in a league season as i have said earlier, even if we had a decent midfield nevermind a good one.

What worries me, as others have said is the wasted wages. Im going to hazard a guess to our highest earners.

    1. Clarke (understandable after last season, even though he has been shaky to say the least so far this)

    2. Holloway

    3. Flynn

    4. Gerrard

    5. Davies

For a team without a pot to piss in, 3/4 of them are a complete waste

    Not far wrong there bud

Fully agree the only time we have missed Ousmane Fane is when he has been sent off as it has left us a man short.

I have a theory about playing Hunt in midfield- I think Shez did it as a point scoring exercise aimed at Fane. Shez blames Fane for the winner last week, and hasn't been impressed with him overall, so instead of playing him as the tackler/ball winner because Green is injured, instead he picks Hunt a RB who plays LB as the next best alternative, showing to Fane that just because he is the only available doesn't mean he is going to play if he was poor the week before.

This also sends a similar message to other players to buck their ideas up, with the exception of the GK, who is the only one available.

Yes and playing hunt in midfield changed all the dynamics in midfield,we cut Wigan apart and had so many chances doing this switch, shez is a fecking genius making this switch!!

Had to come on and say well done today.

As we're both looking for scraps in the same shark infested water I should have wanted a win for the winkies I suppose, but it was just too far against the grain after despising them for 40+ years and I found myself praying that you would hang on!

We have them on Tuesday and I'm hoping for Bradford and Fleetwood to close the gap on them so fingers crossed their nerves might be shredded by kick off time?

You are home and hosed (almost) now (jealous!) , you should offer Sheridan the freedom of your borough!

Hopefully you dick them on Tuesday and Bradford an fleetwood win, it would be nice to see them get beat in the playoffs and go bust next season ??

  10. Absolute garbage that! Did we muster a shot? Midfield just never control a game, no forward threat, a striker should gave been brought on to at least offer some token effort. Erwin got stripped off to come on ( granted half an hour too late ) with 2 mins to go, then got told never mind.....performances like that will relegate us.

    This all day
