Agree, would much prefer Parker but he always seems to have the "big time Charlie" attitude about him and as such I think he would demand high wages suggesting Leicester or Leeds/Doncaster would be the place if he is available. Morrell hasn't been prolific this season to say the least but in our division he did ok and could probably do a decent job as back up to the main front two which I assume would be Davies and Hughes

Where has the quote come from? I'm pretty sure he'll go and the merry go round will start again! I'd like him to stay but not too fussed either way as long as we can keep most of the squad together for the sake of continuity... Been far too many ins and outs over last few years and then the "gelling" argument gets raised again when we have a poor start!

Sven has been the best thing to happen to City for a while but comments attributed to Micah in the press suggest he aint impressed that Sven's job is under scrutiny so could work out for us!! Get that transfer request in Micah!!!

yes on his day he is an outstanding player and done the job,just unfortunate that he hasnt been on hid regular,he would be a good back up player.

I think thats the problem with a lot of players at our level though (though not all). If they were consistently brilliant they would be at a higher level. I like Gary Mac and would like to see him stay. If we got a better replacement, he'd still a worthy squad player because a lack of depth is what, in my eyes has cost us the last two years

When will some mindless people realize that we cannot afford to be fined for their idiotic runs onto the field every season... Apparently mainly kids this time but surely their parents should tell them to stay off!!

I love this assumption that to be a Latics fan you have to hate United - it simply aint true... for me United have never, ever, been a rival to us... they have always been out of our league - and yes I was there to see us beat em many years back... I dont know whether i have just lived away from manchester and surrounding areas too long... but for me, if we aint gonna win everything, and we never will, I want United to stuff the bobbins out of everyone in the league, cups, and especially europe... they are the best team I have ever seen in my lifetime, and they are northern, and most importantly... they aint liverpool...

 

I hope united romp this european cup, and the league - they deserve it, they are simply awesome, and an absolutle pleasure to watch - for me, they are one of the few things that make the premiership worth watching...

I concur!!

I dont mind UTD winning it, they're the most entertaining team in British wise and I cant stand Rafa Benitiz or Chelsea so Im pretty limited in who I can follow in this particular competition untill the day Latics make it which Im sure one day they will do!!

Though Nobes would be quite hard to replace, cos he always seemed fairly switched on but the hardline approach this guy has could be just what a small squad like us needs!!
