Why does a team having decent form suddenly mean we have to be absolutely delighted to get a point.

Well for the same, obvious logic that we'd be disappointed to not beat a team that were below us that were on an awful run of form. A point against a team in the top 6 that were on a roll can be seen as a good result/no disgrace even if we could have done more!

I think you are also using your normal trick of exaggerating peoples responses to describe anyone who has been remotely positive/Not negative as being absolutely delighted.

Yes great comparison that :petesake: West Ham Academy player who failed to make the grade at Upton Park as opposed to some lad who captained his pub team in Normandy. There won't be one person in football in this country whose ever heard or seen this lad yet Fitz was being watching by plenty of clubs at the time.

Erm. This guy came through Auxerre's youth system.vbit more than a pub side in Normandy. There may not be anyone in this country who has heard of him but then how many in France had heard of Fitz Hall when he was at Chesham?

Thought an influx of players would follow as soon as the takeover was complete.

well if you take the month as a whole and assume AL sanctioned those transfers then you could call it an influx.

I see some of you are still struggling with the concept of having a squad after all these years of being Corneyed...

I think people are struggling to see the need for another midfielder not another player. Or are you saying you think we are short of bodies in centre mid? Or was it just an opportunity to crowbar a Corney jibe into your post?
