  1. I guess our youth set up has always been a bit more succesful than yours (bar richards ;))
  2. To be fair I think RM was just joshing when he said that you'll bring more just to abuse him. Also Ronnie Moore has brought in some class youngsters this pre season including Luke Waterfall and Charlie Barnett and has finally given Curran his chance up front, so its a bit unfair to say he isnt trying the youngsters.
  3. Why avoid the carlton?? Erm if you get off at birkenhead centeral its a straight but slightly long walk. If you get off at rock ferry keep your whits about you lol.
  4. Where the stadium is situated is pretty nice but the north of Birkenhead is really a sight to be held and then forgotten asap O and duffy named her albumb rock ferry coz apparently her grandad was from there. Still doesnt justify the song "I'd move to rock ferry" unless the next lyric was "only at gun point"
  5. Lads you have me mistaken, I aint no chav thank you very much
  6. Seems like you have turned into a right orrible lot since the last time I drank in the white horse (I think thats what the pub is called). Anyway for some good crack (and no I aint a scouse drug dealer, I mean banter) come into the prenton on saturday, I always prefer it over the clipper but the bar staff in the clipper are a tad bit tasty.
  7. FU lad I am much better looking than Roonie Moore
  8. Not sure how u23 work but if your trying to get them on the day you have to get them from TRFC ticket office which is normally a nightmare!!!
  9. So I have set up shop here for the week so I am going to add my two pennys worth. 1. After travelling away on my own from the age of 14 too my grand old age of 21 now I have noticed a direct change in stewards man management of myself i.e. now I am a lot bigger they tend to go about there job with a bit more well manners. I think we can all relate to this statement, most snide stewards are just that, snide and will wil only get mouthy or aggressive with the younger fans. 2. If 5 lads are standing up the stewards will be bouncing about trying to stamp there "authority" on the fans by telling them to sit down, as soon as you get a group of 20 or more lads standing up they realise that annoying them might just be more hassle than its worth. 3. I know the laws of football grounds and I know I have been in the wrong in the past, there normally isnt smoke without fire and whilst having a nice word with them is the best policy, arguing with them will get you no where what so ever except for being chucked out the ground. Follow these three simple steps and you should be fine if not just smash the place up To the lad involved, I aint saying you were out of order anything and I am glad to see it hasn't put you off coming to PP.
  10. Lads I know your manager is far superior and overall squad, support, infastructure is far far superior than anyone elses in the league especially ours but can I just remind you that for the past two seasons we have topped the league in the early stages. It doesnt really mean a lot come the last day of the season.
  11. GMP are scum your stewards are ok however I think with the current seating arrangements one or two of our fans might be ejected but probably not as many as two years ago.
  12. Trust me mate our scouts arent that clever!!! As for the steward I am sorry to hear it but there is rarely grumbles from travelling fans about there behaviour so I am just going on that.
  13. I really dont think we are a hoofball side anymore as shown by some decent build up play yesterday, I mean we carved out 6-7 great goal scoring opportunitys with like two of them being balls put into the box. As for our midfield well Kay & Jenno seems to be the partnership but I think with Goodison being off on a holiday we might have to stick Kay in CB with Chorley which is a shame as Kay & Jenno together are a decent partnership. If we play like we did yesterday we have every chance at picking up the three points.
  14. Am pretty sure its £20 mate and if you can pass for a under 23 you can get in for £9.50 which is a bargain.
  15. O no mate our stewards are happy go lucky scousers who will no doubt let you all in for a fiver like they did a couple of seasons ago. Hypercrits the lot of them but they have never been accused of being rough handed anyway worst stewards in this divison were Forest so I guess they had to be replaced with some one. As for your travelling masses you can come sit in the kop am sure it will make for an interesting day out for all involved ;)
  16. Yes we caught Northampton on a good day what with selling of there best player (although non of the goals were easy to save) and still high from there cup success all be it against bolton lol. Still 4-1 is a good win in any accounts and honest to god Bas Savage was immense, won every header, didnt put a pass wrong, held up the ball better than any striker has done at BP since Chief, took his goal well, tackled back and did an excellent moon walk with studs on All of that for £8.50 I left PP a very happy lad indeed.
  17. Sounds good, our problem so far this season has been a lack of unity which hasnt helped with a new formation being played around with but today we turned back to 4-4-2 and reaped the rewards. I know your all going to laugh me out of the room but mark my workd Bas Savage today gave a performance that I have not seen from a TRFC player in years he was brilliant and took his goal so well. Anyway do you reckon you will sell the away end out??? JT was useless when not playing for a contract and Edds gave a very good account of himself today, to be fair anyone would be better than Antwi who is awful. RM will always be a TRFC favourite however his popularity has slightly dipped recently but his tatics today was spot on, so we will have to wait and see. Question...............if Hughes gets injured can you cope???
  18. Alright before you all think I am hear to spout off, I aint, I come in peace and was just wondering how come your doing so well (awaits the 101 witty comments about it having something to do with not having RM in charge) seriously though whats the difference and do you think it will last??? Am looking forward to our game on saturday should boost the gates with an actual decent away following and should drag back some TRFC fans who have appeared to gone walk abouts, we are nearly getting smaller gates than yourself (sorry couldn't resist just one dig). Also apart from Lee Hughes who is showing promise so early on in the season???
