  1. The monthly amount of contributors is very hard to calculate because some pay weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually and randomly. The number jumps quite alot. The average monthly contributor pays £9 a month and i know we have atleast 8 new members over the last week or 2. Me and rick are going to sit down with the statements and get some figures and stats out for you all to mull over but we are not far from having a 5 figure sum in the bank again and january is nearly upon us.

If anyone wants a form sending just pm me.

  2. All ST holders are members. It's a benifit of becoming a season ticket, which was bought from the club, which we own part of, which forms an offer that we will administer.

I don't know the ins and outs of it and i'm certainly not going to oretend i know fully how the data protection act works. That was left to somebody who does know what they're doung.

  3. Unless you gave the club permission I would of thought it would of been a violation of the data protection act to pass over any details to the Trust.

There is usually boxes on forms relating to sharing your information. Was anything on the Season Ticket application form ?

I asked questions regarding the process of applying for this free membership when it was first announced and I was told you would receive an application form with your season ticket book. Then I was told all fans would be automatically made members without needing to apply. I immediately thought this didn't sound like it was right, for various reason.

The trust wants to say it has x thousands of members giving it some masquerade it has our support. Sounds like someone at the club knows that isn't as straight forward when it comes to the law and protecting data.

I can assure you, due dilligance has been carried out by the trust. No laws are to be broken and if anyone is worried about this and can make mondays meeting then please do.

  4. Lookers has answered your concerns early in the thread to my understanding. We have clise links to a legal expert who we run everything by that we do and we have atleast 1 person on the board (although i think it may be 2) who works on the DPA om a daily basis. Jenny was present at the last meeting and explained there was a delay in getting the new system up and running and was a painstaking task. She even said we can have our own options added when it is complete and the data is uploaded. I could of interpreted this incorrectly but lookers will correct me if i'm wrong i'm sure.

  5. So we vote yes, it gets passed, we intall it in 2015, get promoted in 2016 and have to rip it up again. Probably £400k spent in a little over a year on 2 pitches?

Commercially it makes sense with the hiring ut out etc but then you're banking on staying down for a fair few years to get a return in your investment. Would be a gamble.

  6. It's the only thing I have ever know to double it's price and half its size, that being said credit to the PlayerShare team for taking PS to another media outlet.

Thank you. And i would also like to thank Matt Chambers from the Chron for taking time out of his busy schedule and putting together a very good article.

  7. To simply answer your wuestion, he was seen as one for the future. It could be that i was answering a few questions in that 1 reply, i'm not sure without reading the thread. Like i say, if it came across as snotty i apologise.

  8. Nothing snotty about it. We part fund a player. We authorize the release of the funds based on if we have the funds available or not. We can't tell a manager to play that player or ask him for his guarantee that a player will play in the 1st time. If i cane across as snotty then i apologise. It was never intended that way, i can assure you.

  9. What, did I just read this? Jenny is paid by the Club to (amongst other things) liaise with fans. Barry was elected sort of) to represent the Trust to the Club. If what you are saying above is an accurate reflection is how Barry perceives his role then he really should ask himself how he can justify his position.

That isn't how barry perceives his role and he will also make time to meet with fans. It is how the trust is changing. Barry cannot sit on the board, be trust chairman and be fans' rep. It has been stated on here and identified within the trust. I am in the process of asking each trust director to write an outline of their role within the trust so everyone knows what is being done and what needs to be done, barry included.
