As of this afternoon, 419 tickets sold.
That's superb given the journey involved and the way pre-season has gone, Just hope the players acknowledge the fans and give it a reet good go

I'd guess at Macclesfield and Morecambe (who I've seen pre season and they were fucking awful - well on a par with us. Even the likes of Grimsby, Crawley and Crewe seem to have improved past us which is thoroughly depressing.
At this moment in time Morecambe will be miles above us with the signings they've managed to make, even I'm worrying at what might unfold

Typical of us to go to FGR and bring back 3 points and get the season up and running
Pipe down or you'll have some on here topping themselves

There's good reason for that

I'm lost for words.
You and me both!
The thought of actually placing a bet on your home town club to lose and profit from it? sickening and shows how shit this cesspit has become

Decent. Formed in 1895 not 1894 though.
And depending who you speak ton Oldham is Lancashire not Greater Manchester
Oldham has always been in Lancashire and will forever remain so (that's how my late father had me address all correspondence)
Manchester's for Mancs!

Mills was doing a lot of shouting and pointing in the Rochdale game, (didn't go this week) I've no idea if it was constructive or not.
A few training games under his belt, he'll be one of the better players over the full season

Bit of a name drop, but I was talking to Chris Casper at the weekend and he said they have agreed to sign Eoin Doyle...
Can you imagine the carnage when the Roon & Doyle show comes to town?

In my own mind we'll always be reet and I don't ask for much but I'd love to walk tall again, in and around Morecambe as a very proud Oldham fan but the way things are going and after some of their signings, I have serious concerns.

Is there no respite from this torment?

He was watching us at the Rochdale friendly - sat in the directors box in Main Stand - you couldn't miss that chin anywhere!
Got a photo of him alongside my late father at a sportsman's dinner, very Jimmy Hill -esque

Favourite quote "we got him and Aribo for peanuts"
Wondered how long it would be before that one was pointed out but atleast this time a decent sell on should be inplace as he'll, without any doubts go for a commanding sum within the next 3 to 5 years.

Seems young George has learned well from his master
