Finish shift 9am. Brekkie/beers in Oldham and then tram to Dale.5 of us going and then Yates and walk to Crapland.Pity .Same coming back.Lets all have a good full day out.Win or lose were on the booze.I always remember Latics packing out the Sandy Lane end and walking round to the other.LOL.

Just thawing helped by a large whiskey.First half was dire.Came out fighting the second half but could not hold out .Glad Nap scored and Philly.Should give them a confidence boost.Pity about the penalties..some good ones especially Fortes but Preston's luck held out.Anyway lets concentrate now on getting 3 points at Crochstale.

For me this was more disappointing than poor - however there are many teams in this division who will come to Boundary Park and play the same way as an obdurate Crawley did yesterday.
They were determined in their closing down, dogged in the tackle and defended in numbers - all eleven players in the box when we had a corner showed their intent. They were also reasonably adept at the counter attack with one or two pacey forwards.
But they should have been beaten. We had an early goal and then numerous chances to get the second which would have killed the game. As others have said, too many wasted crosses (Brian Wilson) and too many misplaced passes. Philliskirk was hugely involved but wasted a number of opportunities by wanting that extra touch. Their goal apart we defended well.
LJ is doing well and we are on an upward trajectory but we are too narrow in our play, over reliant on the fullbacks to get forward which means the middle of the park then becomes overcrowded. Johnson started with two mazy runs, the second ending with the early goal, but then seemed to slip into a more circumspect display. His goal had shown the way but we failed to build on it.
Three games coming up that will show if we have the right stuff to mount a serious challenge.
100% agree.Felt though more like a loss yesterday and need to put away more of the chances we make each game.We got punished for a mistake which happens.Lets press on and keep up with the pack.We have the best team I have seen for a long time and I am confident, having only missed the Swindon game, that we are getting there slowly but surely.

The drummer helped to make a great atmosphere. He was the lsat one back on our coach..Superb fans yesterday.Just a pity we could not put any of our chances away especially that shot from Poleon ,then we really would have gone mental there.Still we were not disgraced/outclassed and now lets concentrate on getting back to winning ways again.

Good goals by Danny and must have boosted his confidence. Scunny were poor and glad we beat them.Poor referee.Lots of good passing and effort .Well deserved win today. What was the clapping for before the game in the Chaddy for a fan?
-
Another draw when we should have won.Poor ref did not give a penalty for the foul on Forte.Too many scuffed shots from good scoring areas.County were there for the taking today.Good away support including some in fancy dress?Thought Forte and Wilkinson looked dangerous for us.Good so;id play from the rest. Our unbeaten run goes on

Could not understand why we subbed our two strikers when we had them on the ropes.Lost our way a bit after that apart from a chance at the end.
Good game overall and plenty of good tackles and passing but still feel deflated.Still we are undefeated and the quality/pace is there.

Good win and all played well especially Winchester and Philiskirk. Good saves by Chubs. Elokobi superb and I like the way he comes over to the fans after the games.Thought we had a decent ref as well.

Winchester motm for me today

Signed .Typical asset stripper.

Is he the fan who took his daughter to away games .If so I did not not know his name but have spoken to him a few times and they sat next to me a couple of seasons ago at Notts County on a cold mid week game when only about 80 of us went? .If it is him a true die hard fan who went to loads of away games.Sadly missed.RIP.

I was there.2-0 win I think it was to us.Great times.
-
Pity Orient blew a 2-0 lead and fluffed the last 2 pens but on the up side I look forwards to another trip down to one of my favorite away grounds next season.

I think you might still be living in the past when MFC played at Christie Park on Lancaster road, You'd have to run like Bolt to make it in 10 minutes from the Kings, only to find a Sainsburys supermarket instead of a football ground.
Good luck mate!

Feels like we lost.Gutted after playing well up to the sending off .Thought Chubbs could have done better and nearly gifted them one in the first half. and same with Mellor for their second which I had a feeling they were going to get.
Pity we did not get that third when we were in control and came back to bite us in the arse.
