Great team performance after a shaky first few minutes but an even better win given Donnys good away record. We could have won by an even bigger margin as well.Only slight criticism was that we put a couple of balls into the pen box when no one was there.Bring on the draw!

Dry and sunny atm and no frost so should be fine.

Believe what you want .That was said to me by Dave Brierley in the White Hart at Lydgate recently...and no I was not pi$$ed.We had a good chat also about SC and he has not a bad word to say about him..A very decent bloke is DB who was a former chairman for those who do not know him.
-
And what is Penney doing after almost single handed ruining our club with his his signing of his old mates from Hudds,Darlington and Donny rejects and missing out on Jordan Rhodes who was sold for £7 milliion and refusing the advise of Royle and Quinn in favour of his "next Stanley Matthews"
-
Yes.Rhodes as in Jordan?
-
Best game was at Wycombe on a freezing snowey day when we did not know if the game was on until we got there!!I have been told by Dave Brierley ,former chairman, that Penney had the choice between him and Rhodes who was with Ipswich at the time, for the same money and Rhodes was recommended to Penney by both Royle and Micky Quinn but Penney said Colbeck was a much better choice!!.

Both the keeper and his coach and the fans in the Chaddy thought you were superb.Keep it going and stuff any killjoys!!

We should do all we can to keep him longer.Wish I could win the lottery!!!

Nice ground, massive social club, good stewards.Car park took a while to get out off but Kidds should be proud of their facillities.

Big Geoff will have a couple of them...no problem.

We had a good time yesterday.Small friendly club.Liked the big football at the roundabout next to the ground.Shame our driver missed the turnoff!!!!Redz was good .£2 for a bottle of Magners!!Decent catering/small side bar inside the ground.Glad the Ernie applause was taken up by both sets of fans.Don't disagree with much on this thread. As someone who usually supports Crawley, standing in the Oldham end, I thought the singing was great - trouble is, the acoustics are such that whichever end is singing, it doesn't reverberate round the ground. Oldham seemed to have loads of different songs, and the thing I liked most was that they didn't revolve about slagging off the opposition team/ground/fans. The exception of course was the baiting of Adams who took it all in good part. All Crawleys chants seem to be less about encouraging their team, more about being rude about their opponents unfortunately. You have to remember that Crawley are trying to catch up groundwise - e.g. the temp covered stand and the ticket arrangements. Essentailly it's a decent non league ground. Personally, when I've been to away matches (just about every other week) they have similar arrangements for tickets - just not in a portakabin.
On the game, I thought Latics fully deserved their lead, and that seemed to wake Crawley up. It looked as if Bouzadis' goal led a charmed life in the last 10 minutes as they defended deep. I'd only seen 3 of the Latics team before (Croft, Furman and M'voto). I was impressed by Grounds who kept Adams quieter than he normally is, and Tarkowski as well as Bouzadis and Simpson. I really like Derbyshire too - reminds me of Matt Tubbs (big hero at Crawley) who is languishing on the Bournemouth bench at the moment. Anyway, a very good point earned, long may the good form continue....

It would be better if it was a minutes applause just before kick off .If it started after then who would start and finish it and what if there was a goal/incident which would interupt it.Good gesture which all Latics will join you in but I feel it would be better if the ref did it just before kick off which is the usual way of showing uninterupted appreciation for Ernie.

Is Crofty related to Jimmy Rafferty?
-
Yes,that happened to the lad in front of me at Burnley when he got a dart thrown from the 7 fingered lot which went into his head...or the odd dart throwing, like Burnley.

McDonald was the biggest waste of money. At least Olney scored some great goals for us.
