  1. Go on then, give us an honest appraisal.
  2. Well I don't know about any compasrisons to your Davies fella, but people rave about him because, if you play to his stregnths, he'd walk into any team in the league.
  3. Motive ? Please elaborate. The Police were in charge of security, you'd have to ask them why they positioned themselves as they did.
  4. Glad some have actual accepted the Police's part in this rather than the anti Stockport potshots which seem de rigueur post Friday. I should point out that it was not the celebrating of the goal per se which caused the reaction, it was the subsequent goading with "come on" gestures which caused some to indeed do so. I think it rather needs putting in that context, although it doesn't excuse the reaction.
  5. You need to read this thread (and others) then because most of that is based on groundless asumption. You again seem to conveniently forget the Police were involved. Go and read the quote from your own club official in your local rag, I've quoted it in this or another thread, which is bang on the mark.
  6. That's just so far off the mark it just shows a complete lack of knowledge for how these things work.
  7. You can believe what you like. I doubt you'll ever see any 'evidence' of it but you might want to look at the comments made by your own club official to which I responded in this or the other thread. Of course, you'll obviously know about the changes which have occured recently with regard to the policing of our matches (thanks to that gobby owner of Wigan) so you will be speaking from a position of knowledge ? Not just the fact that something different happened x years ago ?
  8. Oh dear. Try to have a rational conversation will you.
  9. There were certainly a number of Oldham fans who had tickets in advance. I know that for a fact.
  10. Oh dear. You'll be talking about the Police then I presume ?
  11. You're playing with semantics now. Of course I condem it, just as I condem the goading of home fans after a goal (which is entirely different to forgetting where you are and celebrating I might add). To then turn around after the initial celebration with arms outstretched shouting "come on" and waving them on is enciting violence. I hope there are prosecutions on both sides. However, I suspect there won't be. Do you condem inciting violence by away fans in home fans areas ?
  12. How so ? Oldham fans could still have wandered up to EP and obtained tickets in advance just as they did for this game.
  13. You think it's possibly to keep out any away fan who wants to get in a home end ? Plllllllllllllllllllease.
  14. I said there was no justifcation for what went on. Isn't that clear. How can you say I justify it. I clearly said I didn't.
  15. It's not an analogy. No justification for what went on, that goes for both sides. Had your fans done the decent thing and kept quiet though, peace and love all around.
  16. Agree re: the quiz. Sadly the ticket staff are employees of Sale Sharks, not SCFC.
  17. Not at all, but all this, it's Stockport's fault, book should be thrown at them rubbish. Come on, how many people here know the FACTS of what went on with the ticket allocation ? If anyone seriously thought County said 2000, no more, just to cause Oldham some aggravation are in cloud cookoo land. We're a trust run club, we need the money for goodness sake. If you'd have told us at an early juncture you'd be bringing 2500 you'd probably have been given the tickets, Police permiting.
  18. At the last minute when arragements are in place with the Police ? What if the Police said, no, no more tickets for Oldham ?
  19. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA, hello, real world calling.
  20. Going into the home end celebrating and goading women and children in front of their husbands/Dads ? Newsflash, it WAS your fault.
