  1. It says "Oldham Athletic will host Huddersfield Town in a pre-season friendly on Saturday, August 2"

So that rules out their place.

Fishal updated. As it now says at boundary park in the text.

Hold my hands up as i could have missed the little intro on the front page, but the main body has definitely seen an amendment.

  2. CSI

    Esp1.

Lee Johnson and his specialist team discovers where it all went wrong in 1-0 loss.

    Esp2.

Lee finds himself in trouble as he realises he started with the wrong tools and had to change things very soon on

    Esp3.

Again solving a murdering of 2-0 loss sounded by gold and crime.

    Esp4.

Promises of not repeating his predecessor mistakes only to break them to stay in the game later on.

This has great potential for numerous sequels under different management and spin offs (all having the same concept and predictability)

  3. Having sat in all four stands, home is where the heart is and that is definitely in the Chaddy End.

In the RRE... when the sun shines you get blinded, when the rain falls you get wet and when the wind blows that's in your face too. It might be the newest stand (for the moment) it doesn't make it the best just on that. Want to make the point that every stand has the flaws.

Latics should give the large section to away fans and keep the small section of RRE for those fans that want to have the banter with away fans.

Personally I want to watch my team, join in a few chants, have a whinge at the ref (sometimes) and come away from BP with 3 points. You can't always get what you want.

  4. Are we spending to accumulate?

It is 60% of our annual turnover as a retrospective view, as people have already said.

If we play good attacking football and win matches we will attract more fans through the turnstiles at BP. Revenue goes up and we can afford a couple more players. Calculated risk.

  5. What a :censored: thread won loads of headers flick ins and layed off for fun, no :censored:er near him or in around him that's the problem not Iwelumo 6 or 7 worse than him today. I weep at out fans today some know :censored:ALL about football...

    +1

I thought he was our best attacking threat in the first half. And was a strange discussion to sub him as we took our number 9 off considering we were hoofing the ball and put another number 10 on.

Barnard, Baxter, Simpson and Montano all want to play off the big guy. We are not the barca of league one, we need fighters and leaders. Iwelumo is both of these. Not saying he'll save us singlehandedly but when used properly he is a good team player.

  6. First I clicked on Byrne' then Simo, and finally settled on Smith.

I have criticised him numerous times this season and then he goes and puts a performance in like that. He played the perfect game and got his just desserts. Well played,

It may be because he' starting games regularly plus he had a strike partner for the first time in this spell, and long may out continue!!!!
