As others have said already let's get lookers up and running (adding to the finances, once it's paid off) first before we start with redeveloping the main stand or ironing out the kink in the roof on the chaddy.

Having sat in all four stands, home is where the heart is and that is definitely in the Chaddy End.

In the RRE... when the sun shines you get blinded, when the rain falls you get wet and when the wind blows that's in your face too. It might be the newest stand (for the moment) it doesn't make it the best just on that. Want to make the point that every stand has the flaws.

Latics should give the large section to away fans and keep the small section of RRE for those fans that want to have the banter with away fans.

Personally I want to watch my team, join in a few chants, have a whinge at the ref (sometimes) and come away from BP with 3 points. You can't always get what you want.

It was just one match that we didnt have Tarky. Saturday he'll be back, partnering Kusunga, Grounds to LB and Winch at RB.

Let's try and have a steady back four for a few games.

Only reason why Baxter was off his game was he playing with a knock last week. Boy is a game winner, play him up to and he'll cause damage.

It is 60% of our annual turnover as a retrospective view, as people have already said.

If we play good attacking football and win matches we will attract more fans through the turnstiles at BP. Revenue goes up and we can afford a couple more players. Calculated risk.

IIRC didn't Johnson say at the start of pre-season that he 'was after a high calibre player and he was prepared to wait for him, if it took till the end of the transfer window then so be it'. Was it Rooney he was referring to at that point?

I asked that question with ticket office and they told me that there wasn't a validity date for the voucher. As it isn't on the terms and conditions when the voucher has to be used by.

I thought he was our best attacking threat in the first half. And was a strange discussion to sub him as we took our number 9 off considering we were hoofing the ball and put another number 10 on.

Barnard, Baxter, Simpson and Montano all want to play off the big guy. We are not the barca of league one, we need fighters and leaders. Iwelumo is both of these. Not saying he'll save us singlehandedly but when used properly he is a good team player.

It may be because he' starting games regularly plus he had a strike partner for the first time in this spell, and long may out continue!!!!

I think the Chaddy v RRE acoustics debate was settled once and for all yesterday. Sat in the Main Stand, the 1200 in the RRE were far noisier than the 3000 in the Chaddy.

Helps if the 3000 in Chaddy actually sung. As excharnwoodlatic said it was down to the daytrippers, disappointing.

Is it just me who thought that our crowd wasn't 'electric'?

From my seat in Chaddy, it was good but has been better on many more occasions.

Perhaps it was too many scouse oldham fans not sure where the loyalties lie.
