Any chance of a collar?
It's a football shirt, not a football t'shirt. Steps down from soap box.
My choice though is A, never wear the 03/04 away kit nowadays something to do with that sponsor.

I think its bit of light hearted fun, I can safely say we ALL know that PD is still in charge.
Spoil sport I thought I was dreaming

A wing and a prayer

I have tipped them to survive but if there is one team who could upset my predictions then it could be the Latics.
This the act of great journalism, a caveat.
If I wrote a caveat like that, after everything I wrote I would get everything right too!

No booking from the Ref ? Whats going on!?
He was booked.
Think Chrissy Taylor was the last that jumped over/leant over the hoardings and celebrated with the chaddy.
-
How come Latics had a good 20 minute half time? County were lined up for 5 minutes waiting for us to come out!
We did against tranmere and scunny, made the oppo to wait. Divckov must be instilling magic at half time

intelligent play as well! One main difference between dj and eaves 2 ft

John Harbin was a very good appointment by Dowie.
Lets hope Butler will be of good service

ST purchased and looking forward to next season whoever is charge!
Bring on the good times and positivity!

plus one more in chaddy road.
A clean slate and patience for all the players is a must! Even colbeck.
-
Good luck Whits, sure he'll score a screamer against us next time he lines up.
Could hardly be called a yard-dog, more of a luxury we couldn't afford.
Echo sentiments before, never forget his goal against Leicester.
Cheers and all the best.
Edit: vital word missing.

So who is old and experienced around our level and the at lower leagues?
Martin Allen
hahahaha

The ovation for Roger Palmer showed the crowd are still passionate, the management and players just need to give them something to be passionate about.
Very true. Here's hoping for an awe inspiring managerial appointment.
If they could have announced pre game, roger palmer was attending it would have boosted attendence

Best reffing performance at BP for many a year.
Well done Mark.

Did like the way he was answerin the crowd when questioned about the pen and red card. Both blatantly and correctly denied. Hats off Halsey, cracking job well done

I have seen nothing from Deane Smalley over 3 seasons that suggests he is a worthy centre forward. Winger perhaps, but not a striker.
Lee ahead of Stephens in midfield? Really?
Black ahead of Jacobsen? I think Penney's had a falling out with JJ but he's a better player than Black.
Ah well, each to his own I suppose.
Each to their own, yeah Black ahead of jj, (he's injured at the mo again) and that is a main reason, give youth a chance. Plus more attacking than jj.
Reason to smalley up top, well secondary striker position, best of the rest currently at bp.
Lee has more direct attacking flair than stephen', believe he can unlock n beat a man especially when doesn't have the shackles of being last man.
each to their own, but at the moment DP still is thinking for himself and not taking advice from me

i'll be renewin as will my fiancee, but i am doing so if the only reason is that it may be the very last season at BP.
I hope we dont move to manchester, i am an oldhamer and proud of it, but fear it will happen.
DP will go eventually, if it is soon or later, the TTA will also go sooner or later, but i/we shall remain.
Oldhm Athletic is our football club, we don't expect to win ever game, but we do hope for some cheer.
Moronic jeers towards managers do not help the players, but do you think that the players want to play for this manager? When there is no movement/no willing attacking play from skillful wingers, decent midfielders and good strikers?
I have never shouted for heads on the terraces, but it must be obvious to those with the power that DP and team isn't the answer!?! You can be a decent manager, but just not a lucky one, which is what i feel has happened to Dave.

i can presume that jj picked up a knock on saturday, otherwise movin lee on the left hand side would be illogical? I can understand why you put on a defender for a striker, er midfielder, who is it's debut and chances are limited, eaves although a couple of apps has yt to score a goal, where is brooke? He sort of knows where the net is. Why is stephens' protected why doesn't he get subbed? Not saying he deserved to get subbed but.... You want more attacking options?
-
who are the fringe players? With so many bloomin injuries every body is a first teamer. I thought Whits played half decent, keigan should really play behind the front two, let him chase down lost causes. Lee has done very well, there is no way he is a rb, but needs must in that position. Smalley n Tayls isnt given the freedom they need to create and that what is killing the team. Last yr they were best in class this yr not even close!

Twisted Wheel....strife

Talking to the Key developer guy, he said the capacity would be more 10-12000...so where 16,000 comes from is a mystery. I'm sure that the corners being filled in won't offer 4000 more seats...maybe more like 2000! So it seems we'll be building for a 10,000 and expanding to 12,000 should we need it.
I was told by the board favourite director, Barry, that each corner would hold 1500, on the plans there would be 2 corners.
Was it suggested that all 4 corners would be filled?
There are too many ish numbers for my liking, I heard the four separate stands would definitely hold 12,000, but the Key Developer is saying 10-12,000 will people please make up there minds.
tedious lines we're guaranteed to hear from the Commentators on Sunday....

At times it was too easy for (insert any Liverpool player) to glide past (insert any Oldham player).
If only Dickov would be playing, he would be in amongst them.
The romance of the cup means everything to a club like this....errrr like all things it's about the money.
