Its wishful thinking I'm affraid bought mine and my Mrs ticket the other week and we sit together (obviously) and the book numbers are 3236 and 2437, just books given out randomly to all who chose to risk there hopes and dreams for another season.
I bought mine and my Mrs' Season Tickets and the book numbers are 04462 and 04463 for the RRE. I was presuming that the club might of started the count at 01000?
I was told that from a mate that they were only selling the two blocks of the RRE, T and I. Suppose leaving L and A open to day trippers.
No matter how many ST's are sold, why the "0" in the tens of thousands column?
Is that optimistic?
By the way......
old capacity - 13273
new capactity - 10638
away fans - 1600
ST poss/home fans - 9038

OK, OK, sorry!
Don't worry about it, everybody makes mistakes. Due to the nature of your current role your work is seen by thousands over the week, and a good few hundred on a daily basis which is more than most of us to say and then when it gets highlighted, and people start throwing mud, not good.
All I want to say and retract some of my previous statement "Keep up the good work!"

The Beeb and Murdock Money Sky don't care about Lower League Football and regular get their facts wrong. I would hate to hazard a guess about how many mistakes occur every week for the lower league games/fixtures.
But the fishal site!?! that is appalling, you would of have thought they know what the score is or how many points are on the board and what type of competitive games are played.

Sorry to cover this topic again, but.....
My main question is though, WHY HAS THE DRUMMER BOY MOVED????
On Saturday and yesterday his new seat appears to be about 7 rows in front of me, HELP!!!!
It's like that annoying alarm that doesn't shut up until you get out of bed to shut it up.
He has moved into the singing (esque) section of the Chaddy Road and he is as many people have already commented stiffling the singing/clapping atmosphere.
We don't need that tin drum, as S_W once said a long time back get a kettle drum and place at the back of the stand in a corner away from those who don't want to be near him.
I also saw last night; shock, horror, stop the press, no wonder drumming is bad, he let someone around him bang his drum!

there's such a fine line between success and the moaners turning on the players.
Very true!
Wouldn't have heard the end of it, grumpy old miserable sods.
Although as we proved against Swanzea though, we can nick games late on with the pace + imagination we now have in the team!

The back four though, what's going on? Sloppiness all over, but I think with some more regimented training on shape and working as a unit, they'll do okay.
The back four last season was fairly solid and we rarely lost by more than 2 goals and conceded 3.
And that was a new back four as such, Pogs rejoined from Lashers, Gregan joined for the Kettering game, and Haining being the only member of the previous campaign, Eardley was his first full season and Charlton joined soon after the season started.
I'm not so sure this time, we have the Keegan attitude, we'll score more than you and that is a dangerous game to play.
We should be more solid, better quality surely?

He doesn't want to play a friendly and get hurt. So It'll be OK to play and get injured once he has a contract will it? What a ridiculous situation. Really, what's all that about!!
It's a friendly, there are not suppose to be any nasty challenges
What is all that about, getting injured while playing, he could of gone up north trained with team and without playing.
I did like what I saw on Tuesday, good performance a little rusty but good experience and could be a great asset in our team.
Not going, is he telling us he's injury prone?

So far it is one way traffic, 4-4-2 is the way forward
Full Backs are extremely useful and their crossing just has to be as good as the wingers in front of them!
Full stop. No argument about it.
-
we either have the flanks to attack down or simply punt it up to big guys.
Last season when we were beating teams in November/December time, what we were doing was playing our full backs far up the pitch as possible and helping out Lids and Taz (as a bloke who was calling him that all night) firing crosses into one striker P*rts (20 Goals).
This season, from last nights performance it looks like Eardsy' crossing has improved dramatically and if the solution is Wright on the left he looks like he can fire in a few decent crosses too. Also we have two BIG strikers with Hughes in the wings (which exact wing I am not sure??) How many goals do you think our new strikers will score with previous records as well as previous goal scoring seasons.
The Allott and JP will simply move forward together and back together a tighter defensive unit. I know we shouldn't compare last season to the coming one, but there were
mistakesthings that needed improving and bringing JP and Allott in we will not lose games/goals in the middle of the park!(*Nearly) every second ball last night was ours when they were there, very impressed. Battled extremely hard and it was only a friendly.
I don't think we need a first teamer that is a creative spark, maybe someone who can liven things up in the middle, pick that one special pass late on in games substitute but not a starter, as long as we have the full backs flying.
The future's bright, the future's tangerine!
The time is now to dream of promotion and winners medals.

No wonder Yeovil wanted to keep him, Slade factor noticed from the clip (cheers Diego) that Russell Slade was there. He must be a fan.
Lets hope he is twice the player that Rocky was - he must be a definate replacement for him.

He is a great signing In My Opinion. (Is the abbreviation IMO text speak?)
I note that he can also save penalties too, the only one against Matt Le Tissier and in the FACupFinal. Not bad.
Also I see more signing could be captured later this week, we have been quietly waiting here, (not pulling our hair out at all) and JS has been on hols sunning himself, with all these acquisitions virtually concluded before he went.
Fixtures, first rate keeper, and more signings to come.
The excitement doesn't end, just over a month till we see the boys in blue step out against Barrow.

Personally I vote for Pogs, he has been rock steady this season and some of his saves have been magnificent. Proper top draw.
I know he makes one or two mistakes and those usually unnecessary shots at goals or worse conceding goals (which all keepers do), but the guy is a legend and has stopped 3 pts being turned into 1, and 1 into 0 for latics. Previous seasons majority of people said that all he needs is to have a consistant back 4 and he is on the best keepers in this division, I reckon Pogs could easily make the step up into the Championship. Brave statement!
