we got allot of problems atm injuries a virus but the obv bad spot is the keeper and the 2 centre back's not closing down at times giving to much space or as in hazles case to relaxed instead of chasing the ball down and getting rid of it he jogs while under pressure slips or does somthing stupid then gives them a great chance to score.

greegen just cant seem to close anyone down or block a shot, the goally is dire this guy doesnt need confidence as from day one he has been gash he needs basic goal keeping skills he cant setup a wall in defence then decides to stand as close to the post as possible leaving the hole net open, he did the same last week and he did it twice lastnight but thay missed there secound chance not saying he would have got there for the first freekick but would have had a better chance in the correct possition.

sort them places out and the team as a hole will get confidence.

This season to me is going to be a long season. Not thilled with dave penney or his signing none of them jump out to me at all.

To be honest, I read the team list and didn't notice O'Grady...but I think it's useful to see him and Byfield play. Target man to flick on for Byfield. So refreshing compared to seeing O'Grady upfront on his own in the League Cup 1st round last season, or seeing Byfield being played so badly wrong like he was under Shez. Let's see how it goes eh...

According to reports Football Club United of Manchester is planning to launch an open tender to find designers or architects to create its first stadium and club facilities later this year.

The interior design group’s plans include an ‘expandable’, 7000-capacity stadium constructed from recycled freight containers and featuring roof-mounted solar panels.

 

Rumours suggest the site will not be very far from the new Latics proposed stadium in Failsworth, and quite close to Eastlands home of Manchester City.

 

If this comes to fruition and FC United and Latics have stadiums only a couple of miles or so from each other does anyone think this may have some impact on Latics gates, particularly if FC United do well and achieve their aim of league fooball ?
