Is this Richard Bowden? Isn't he the one appointed as a NED as a fan representative that was advertised earlier this year? I'm sure he was announced over the summer?

Yeah, pretty sure you’re correct. It’s just that the club have caught up with Companies House updates.

    Edit - yep. https://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/news/2019/june/12062019-new-board-appointment/

I was led to believe it was £150k...... Benham had Corney’s pants down..... but this is what happens when the folk (Moore, Blitz, Gazal, Corney & Lemsagam) in charge are more interested in themselves than the club. Benham is a Brentford fan, brought up in West London, who is planning for the long term.

He even got £500k for Tarky making his England debut....

And may get another £500k if he makes his first England competitive appearance.

ok mass conspiracy here  its Al and Mo again.. Lets be honest all 3 of our keepers are crap.. Dino semed pissed of with proceedings on Tuesday..

Yeah. How hasn't he improved the ability of our goalkeepers in less than 2 months? Shit coach. Who else will be doing the sackings then?

Dino was pissed off with the recruitment, not the coaching.

Especially when you consider the amount of spare seats we have at home and in 2019 if you want to buy tickets in advance you can use the internet or the phone if you are old school. No surprise the role has gone part time.

The club can’t really afford to lose sales because the ticket office isn’t open when someone wants to go (it’ll happen and it might be the straw that broke the camel’s back for a fan who will then stop going completely). The staff member could have a duel admin role and complete other tasks when it’s quiet.

Career to date - 13 goals in 140 appearances...

    He was quick though!

In March 2015 he was caught by police speeding at 156 mph in his BMW M4 on the Cambridgeshire section of the A1, in what was the fastest recorded speed on a public road in the UK for more than three years; he was banned from driving for six months and handed a £1,400 fine.

I’m struggling to understand what any club officials from Latics could have done to be perceived as treating him badly seeing as he was there as a guest of Bradford?

I don’t think Dux was talking about the way anyone treated him yesterday.

Sounds like he is getting some tough love which is exactly what is needed to ensure he doesn’t repeat this, or a similar offence.

Good luck to you both and I really hope that his career can recover.

Scary thing is is that he has repeated an offence. He’s 18 and was already disqualified from driving.

I used to work in Bradford and it's a shocking atmosphere in whichever pub u go so thought I'd see if a few latics fans where going somewhere in particular to get an atmosphere goin

I doubt you'll need to get an atmosphere going for Latics away at Bradford.

Didn't we have a couple of posters on here who were banding about some pretty meaty figures as the going rate for the use of the units on the back of the stand when a Trust led fans bar was being mooted? 100k doesn't seem an unreasonable amount of money given what appears to be on offer and the benefits associated with it.

    £75k pa.

Avoids the point I'm making. If you wanted people to use it, what reason could they possibly have to remain anonymous when everyone knows our fans hate cloak and dagger?

Because there’s a much bigger deal in the making and the people involved probably have more at stake than a few pints.

So they're not bothered if people don't spend money in the facility they're in charge of running?

Fine, don’t go in then. People have been crying out for a half decent bar at the club for years. You’re not going to go because you don’t know everyone involved with the deal? Even though we have some massive fans involved, 1 of which has worked for free in the ticket office for yonks? Ok then.

They still want support of the fans to pump money into the OEC don't they? So surely by coming forward, unless they're dodgy, it would help do that

They’re not asking for money yet. Once the details are sorted and they’re nearer a deal, I would imagine others would be announced along with a plan. Why is that so hard for people to grasp?
